Description
Claims (3)
- 生体内に挿入されて使用されるカテーテルにおいて、
当該カテーテルの遠位側に設けられ、流体が供給されることにより膨張し当該流体が排出されることで収縮するバルーンと、
当該カテーテルの少なくとも遠位端部を構成するとともに熱可塑性樹脂を用いて形成された管部とを備え、
当該管部における遠位端部から近位側に向けた所定範囲に亘る先端領域は、当該先端領域に対して近位側にて連続する領域に比べて前記熱可塑性樹脂の結晶化度が高められており、
前記管部は、前記バルーンよりも遠位側に延出しており、
前記先端領域は、その延出している領域に形成されているとともに、近位側端部が前記バルーンの遠位側端部よりも遠位側に存在していることを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 生体内に挿入されて使用されるカテーテルにおいて、
当該カテーテルの少なくとも遠位端部を構成するとともに熱可塑性樹脂を用いて形成された管部を備え、
当該管部における遠位端部から近位側に向けた所定範囲に亘る先端領域は、当該先端領域に対して近位側にて連続する領域に比べて前記熱可塑性樹脂の結晶化度が高められており、
前記管部は、遠位端側が近位端側よりも細くなるように形成されており、
当該細く形成された領域に、前記先端領域の全体が含まれていることを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 前記管部は、近位側管部よりも遠位側に延びるように当該近位側管部の遠位端部に連結され且つ当該近位側管部よりも剛性が低くなるようにして形成された遠位側管部であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のカテーテル。
