Claims (10)
- 固定子鉄心と前記固定子鉄心に巻回された固定子巻線とを有する固定子と、
前記固定子に対して回転自在に支持されるとともに、回転子鉄心を有し、前記回転子鉄
心に複数個の磁極が形成され、さらに隣接する前記磁極間にリラクタンストルクを発生す
るための補助突極が形成される回転子とを備え、
前記回転子の各磁極は、前記回転子鉄心に形成された磁石挿入孔と前記磁石挿入孔に収
納された永久磁石と前記永久磁石と前記補助突極との間に形成された非磁性部とを備えて
おり、
上記永久磁石はその固定子側がN極あるいはS極の内の一方となり、その反対側がN極
あるいはS極の内の他方となるように磁化されると共に、回転子の周方向において各磁極
毎に磁化方向が反転するように磁化されており、
前記回転子において前記永久磁石より固定子側の前記回転子鉄心が磁極片として作用し
、また前記非磁性部より固定子側の前記回転子鉄心が前記磁極片と前記補助突極とをつな
ぐブリッジ部として作用し、
前記ブリッジ部において、回転子の回転軸を中心として前記永久磁石挿入孔の最も固定
子側を通る円弧状の仮想線を描いた場合に、前記非磁性部の固定子側の辺は前記永久磁石
側から前記補助突極側に前記仮想線に沿って伸びる第1の辺を有し、前記非磁性部の前記
補助突極側の辺は固定子とは反対の方向に伸びる第2の辺を有し、前記第1の辺と前記第
2の辺との間が曲線によってつながっており、
前記第1の辺と、前記永久磁石挿入孔の、前記永久磁石の外径側に位置する辺とが周方
向に連続しており、
前記第1の辺は、前記回転子の回転軸を中心とし前記永久磁石の外径側に位置する辺と前記第1の辺との交点Sを通る前記円弧状の仮想線に対して凸でない同心円形状となっていること、を特徴とする回転電機。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機において、
前記非磁性部の前記第2の辺は、前記補助突極を通るq軸の磁束にほぼ沿った形状を有
していることを特徴とする回転電機。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機において、
前記第1の辺の長さに対する前記曲線の長さの比が0.5〜2の範囲であることを特徴
とする回転電機。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機において、
前記非磁性部の固定子側の面には、前記第1の辺と前記曲線との間に、2つの辺をほぼ
直線で結ぶ第3の辺を有することを特徴とする回転電機。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機において、
前記非磁性部の径方向の厚さは前記磁石の径方向の厚さよりも小さいことを特徴とする
回転電機。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機において、
1つの前記磁石挿入孔に対し、複数個の磁石が挿入されていることを特徴とする回転電
機。 - 請求項6に記載の回転電機において、
前記複数個の磁石間には非磁性部を少なくとも1つ有することを特徴とする回転電機。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機において、
前記固定子巻線は、分布巻で巻き回されており、
前記磁石の極弧率を0.50±0.05の範囲に、前記非磁性部の極弧率を0.70±0.
05の範囲に設定されていることを特徴とする回転電機。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機において、
前記固定子巻線は、集中巻で巻き回されており、
前記磁石の極弧率を0.66±0.05の範囲に、前記非磁性部の極弧率を0.80±0.
05の範囲に設定されていることを特徴とする回転電機。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機と、直流電力を供給するバッテリと、前記バッテリの直流電
力を交流電力に変換して前記回転電機に供給する変換装置とを備え、前記回転電機のトル
クを駆動力として用いることを特徴とする自動車。
