Claims (8)
- 複数の駆動電極及び複数のセンシング電極を含むパネルと、
ディスプレイ駆動期間において、共通電圧を前記駆動電極及び前記センシング電極に出力し、タッチ駆動期間中、タッチ未感知期間には、基準電圧を前記駆動電極に出力し、前記タッチ駆動期間中、タッチ感知期間には、前記基準電圧を基準としてスイングする駆動パルスを前記駆動電極に出力し、前記センシング電極からセンシング信号を受信するディスプレイドライバーICと、
前記ディスプレイドライバーICが前記駆動パルスを前記各駆動電極に順次出力するようにする制御信号及び前記タッチ感知期間と前記タッチ未感知期間とを選択するための選択信号を前記ディスプレイドライバーICに伝送し、前記センシング信号と前記基準電圧とを用いてタッチの有無を感知するタッチICと、を含み、
前記駆動パルスの最小電圧は、前記共通電圧と同一であることを特徴とする、表示装置 - 前記ディスプレイドライバーICは、
前記ディスプレイ駆動期間が終わり、前記タッチ駆動期間が始まると、前記基準電圧を前記駆動電極に出力し、前記タッチ駆動期間中、前記選択信号が受信される前記タッチ感知期間には、前記基準電圧より低い最小電圧と、前記基準電圧より高い最大電圧と、を有する前記駆動パルスを前記駆動電極に出力し、前記タッチ駆動期間中、前記タッチ感知期間が終わると、前記基準電圧を前記駆動電極に出力することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記ディスプレイドライバーICは、
前記駆動パルスの最大電圧を発生させる最大電圧発生部と、
前記基準電圧を発生させる基準電圧発生部と、
前記駆動パルスの最小電圧である前記共通電圧を発生させる共通電圧発生部と、
前記タッチ感知期間には、前記制御信号によって前記最大電圧と前記最小電圧を有する前記駆動パルスを前記駆動電極に出力し、前記タッチ未感知期間には、前記基準電圧を前記駆動電極に出力するレベルシフタと、
前記選択信号によって前記基準電圧または前記共通電圧を前記レベルシフタに出力させる選択スイッチング部と、
前記ディスプレイ駆動期間では前記共通電圧発生部と前記駆動電極を連結させ、前記タッチ駆動期間では前記レベルシフタと前記駆動電極を連結させる駆動電極連結部と、
前記ディスプレイ駆動期間では前記共通電圧発生部と前記センシング電極に連結させ、前記タッチ駆動期間では前記タッチICと前記センシング電極を連結させるセンシング電極連結部と、
前記ディスプレイ駆動期間と前記タッチ駆動期間とを区分するタッチ同期信号を前記駆動電極連結部及び前記センシング電極連結部に出力するタッチ同期部と、を含み、
前記駆動パルスの最小電圧は、前記共通電圧と同一で、前記タッチ感知期間と前記タッチ未感知期間が前記選択信号によって選択される、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記タッチICは、
前記制御信号を前記レベルシフタに伝送するタッチ駆動部と、
前記選択信号を前記選択スイッチング部に伝送する選択信号生成部と、
前記センシング信号を受信してタッチの有無を判断するタッチセンシング部と、
前記基準電圧を前記タッチセンシング部に伝送する基準電圧伝送部と、を含む、請求項3に記載の表示装置。 - ディスプレイ駆動期間において、共通電圧を、パネルに形成されている駆動電極及びセンシング電極に出力するステップと、
タッチ駆動期間中、タッチ未感知期間には、基準電圧を前記駆動電極に印加し、前記タッチ駆動期間中、タッチ感知期間には、前記基準電圧を基準としてスイングする駆動パルスを前記駆動電極に出力して前記センシング電極からセンシング信号を受信するステップと、
前記センシング信号を用いてタッチの有無を感知するステップと、を含み、
前記駆動パルスの最小電圧は、前記共通電圧と同一で、前記タッチ感知期間と前記タッチ未感知期間が選択信号によって選択される、表示装置駆動方法。 - 前記タッチ未感知期間に前記基準電圧を前記駆動電極に印加し、前記タッチ感知期間には前記駆動パルスを前記駆動電極に出力して前記センシング信号を受信するステップは、
前記ディスプレイ駆動期間が終わり、前記タッチ駆動期間が始まると、前記基準電圧を前記駆動電極に出力するステップと、
前記タッチ駆動期間中、前記基準電圧が出力される間に、選択信号が受信されると、前記基準電圧より低い最小電圧と、前記基準電圧より高い最大電圧とを有する駆動パルスを前記駆動電極に出力し、前記センシング電極からセンシング信号を受信するステップと、
前記タッチ駆動期間の中、前記選択信号の受信が遮られると、前記基準電圧を前記駆動電極に出力する段階と、を含む、請求項5に記載の表示装置駆動方法。 - 前記駆動パルスを前記駆動電極に出力して前記センシング信号を受信するステップは、
前記選択信号が受信されると、前記最小電圧を前記駆動電極に出力するステップと、
前記最小電圧を出力させた後、前記最大電圧と前記最小電圧とが繰り返される前記駆動パルスを前記駆動電極に出力するステップと、
前記センシング電極から前記センシング信号を受信するステップと、を含む、請求項6に記載の表示装置駆動方法。 - 前記タッチ未感知期間の間に前記基準電圧を前記駆動電極に印加し、前記タッチ感知期間には前記駆動パルスを前記駆動電極に出力して前記センシング信号を受信するステップは、
また別の駆動電極に対して順次行われることを特徴とする、請求項5−7のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置駆動方法。
