Claims (12)
- 空気流入口および空気流出口を有する外枠材に収容されて空気に含まれる放射性有機ヨウ素の除去に使用され、活性炭素繊維から形成されたシートを一方向へジグザグに折り畳んだ放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタにおいて、
前記放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタの前後方向前方と前後方向後方との少なくとも一方には、空気流入口および空気流出口を有する外枠材に収容されて空気に含まれる塵埃を除去するHEPAフィルタが配置され、前記放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタを収容した外枠材と前記HEPAフィルタを収容した外枠材とが、前後方向に並んだ状態で気密に固定され、
前記放射性有機ヨウ素を吸着するアミン類が、前記活性炭素繊維に添着され、前記放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタにおける面速が、10〜25cm/secの範囲にあり、前記面速における放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタの圧力損失が、100〜300Paの範囲にあり、前記空気の湿度95%における前記放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタの放射性有機ヨウ素除去効率が、95%以上であることを特徴とする放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。 - 前記放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタを収容した外枠材と前記HEPAフィルタを収容した外枠材とが、縦方向へ離間対向して横方向へ延びる一対の横板部材と、横方向へ離間対向して縦方向へ一対の延びる縦板部材とから形成され、それら外枠部材の横板部材どうしが、固定手段を介して気密に固定され、それら外枠部材の縦板部材どうしが固定手段を介して気密に固定されている請求項1に記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。
- 前記アミン類が、トリエチレンジアミンC6H12N2であり、前記活性炭素繊維の単位重量に対する前記トリエチレンジアミンC6H12N2の添着量が、10〜20重量%の範囲にある請求項1または請求項2に記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。
- 前記活性炭素繊維の平均繊維径が、10〜18μmの範囲にあり、前記シートの目付が、100〜350g/m2の範囲、前記シートのみかけの嵩密度が、0.03〜0.13g/cm3の範囲にある請求項1ないし請求項3いずれかに記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。
- 前記シートの厚み寸法が、2〜4mmの範囲にある請求項1ないし請求項4いずれかに記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。
- 前記放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタが、1枚の前記シートから作られ、そのシートの一方向への折り曲げ回数が、前記放射性ヨウ素除去フィルタの一方向の長さ100mmに対して16〜18回の範囲にある請求項1ないし請求項5いずれかに記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。
- 前記放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタが、2枚の前記シートをその厚み方向へ重ね合わせた積層シートから作られ、前記積層シートが前記一方向へジグザグに折り畳まれている請求項1ないし請求項5いずれかに記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。
- 前記積層シートの一方向への折り曲げ回数が、前記放射性ヨウ素除去フィルタの一方向の長さ100mmに対して8〜9回の範囲にある請求項7に記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。
- 前記シートが、繊維不織布、織物、編み物のうちのいずれかの形態を有する請求項1ないし請求項8いずれかに記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。

- 前記放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタを収容した外枠材の空気流出口の側には、前記横板部材と前記縦板部材との少なくとも一方に跨って前記放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタの変形を防止する第1補強部材が取り付けられている請求項1ないし請求項10いずれかに記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。
- ジグザグに折り畳まれた前記シートまたは前記積層シートの互いに対向する対向部分の間であって前記第1外枠部材の少なくとも中央部には、前記シートまたは前記積層シートの空気流入口の側に位置する第1折曲部分の内側から前記第1補強部材に向かって延びる第2補強部材が取り付けられている請求項11に記載の放射性有機ヨウ素除去フィルタ。
