Claims (17)
- 電極集合体と、前記電極集合体を囲むカバー部材とを備え、
前記電極集合体が、
第1電極と、前記第1電極の周りに形成された分離膜または電解質層と、前記分離膜または電解質層の表面に形成された第2電極とを含み、
前記第1電極が、長手方向に直交する断面が円形、非対称形の楕円形または多角形である第1電極の集電体、及び前記第1電極の集電体の表面に設けられた第1電極活物質層を含み、
前記第2電極が、前記分離膜または電解質層の表面に形成された第2電極活物質層、及び前記第2電極活物質層の外部に設けられた、パイプ型であるか、もしくは、長手方向に直交する断面が円形、非対称形の楕円形または多角形である第2電極の集電体を含むケーブル型二次電池において、
前記カバー部材は、前記カバー部材の表面に、所定の形態の連続または不連続のスクラッチ溝を備えることを特徴とするケーブル型二次電池。 - 前記スクラッチ溝の深さは、カバー部材の厚さに対して10ないし30%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記スクラッチ溝は、カバー部材の長手方向に対して所定の勾配を有する線形パターンであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記スクラッチ溝は、カバー部材の長手方向に対して所定の勾配を有する波形パターンであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記スクラッチ溝は、格子状パターンであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記スクラッチ溝は、不規則な複数の溝であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記第1電極は負極であり、前記第2電極は正極であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記第1電極の活物質は、天然黒鉛、人造黒鉛、または炭素質材料;リチウム含有チタン複合酸化物(LTO);Si、Sn、Li、Zn、Mg、Cd、Ce、NiまたはFeである金属類(Me);前記金属類(Me)の合金類;前記金属類(Me)の酸化物(MeOx);及び前記金属類(Me)と炭素との複合体からなる群から選択された何れか1つの活物質粒子またはこれらのうち2種以上の混合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記第2電極の活物質は、LiCoO2、LiNiO2、LiMn2O4、LiCoPO4、LiFePO4、LiNiMnCoO2、及びLiNi1-x-y-zCoxM1yM2zO2(M1及びM2は、互いに独立して、Al、Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、V、Cr、Ti、W、Ta、Mg、及びMoからなる群から選択された何れか一つであり、x、y及びzは、互いに独立して、酸化物組成元素の原子分率であって0≦x<0.5、0≦y<0.5、0≦z<0.5、x+y+z≦1である)からなる群から選択された何れか1つの活物質粒子またはこれらのうち2種以上の混合物を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記第1電極の集電体は、ステンレススチール、アルミニウム、ニッケル、チタン、焼成炭素、もしくは銅;カーボン、ニッケル、チタンもしくは銀で表面処理したステンレススチール;アルミニウム‐カドミウム合金;導電材で表面処理した非伝導性高分子;または伝導性高分子;から形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記第2電極の集電体は、ステンレススチール、アルミニウム、ニッケル、チタン、焼成炭素、もしくは銅;カーボン、ニッケル、チタンもしくは銀で表面処理したステンレススチール;アルミニウム‐カドミウム合金;導電材で表面処理した非伝導性高分子;もしくは伝導性高分子;から形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記導電材は、ポリアセチレン、ポリアニリン、ポリピロール、ポリチオフェン、ポリ窒化硫黄、酸化インジウムスズ(ITO)、銅、銀、パラジウム、及びニッケルのうち選択された1種または2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする請求項10または11に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記伝導性高分子は、ポリアセチレン、ポリアニリン、ポリピロール、ポリチオフェン、及びポリ窒化硫黄のうち選択された1種の化合物または2種以上の混合物であることを特徴とする請求項10〜12のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記電解質層は、ポリエチレンオキサイド(PEO)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVdF)、ポリメタクリル酸メチル(PMMA)、ポリアクリロニトリル(PAN)もしくはポリ酢酸ビニル(PVAc)のゲル型高分子電解質;および、PEO、ポリプロピレンオキシド(PPO)、ポリエチレンイミン(PEI)、ポリエチレンスルフィド(PES)またはPVAcの固体電解質;のうち選択された電解質から形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記電解質層は、リチウム塩をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記リチウム塩は、LiCl、LiBr、LiI、LiClO4、LiBF4、LiB10Cl10、LiPF6、LiCF3SO3、LiCF3CO2、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiAlCl4、CH3SO3Li、CF3SO3Li、(CF3SO2)2NLi、クロロボランリチウム、低級脂肪族カルボン酸リチウム、及びテトラフェニルホウ酸リチウムのうち選択された1種または2種以上であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
- 前記分離膜は、微細孔ポリエチレンフィルム、微細孔ポリプロピレンフィルム、またはこれらフィルムの組み合わせによって製造される多層フィルム、及び、ポリフッ化ビニリデン、ポリエチレンオキサイド、ポリアクリロニトリル、またはポリフッ化ビニリデン‐ヘキサフルオロプロピレン共重合体の電解質用高分子フィルムから構成された群から選択された何れか1つであることを特徴とする請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載のケーブル型二次電池。
