図1は比較のために示す図で、一般的な電動機100の横断面図である。図1に示す一般的な電動機100は、例えばブラシレスDCモータである。電動機100は、固定子101と、この固定子101の内側に空隙120を介して配置される回転子102とを備える。

- 冷媒を圧縮する圧縮要素と、
前記圧縮要素を駆動し、鉄、ネオジウム、ボロン及びディスプロシウムを含むネオジウム希土類磁石であって、ディスプロシウムの含有量が4重量%以下のネオジウム希土類磁石を用いる回転子を有する6極の電動機と
を備えたことを特徴とする圧縮機。 - 冷媒を圧縮する圧縮要素と、
前記圧縮要素を駆動し、鉄、ネオジウム、ボロン及びディスプロシウムを含むネオジウム希土類磁石であって、ディスプロシウムの含有量が3重量%以下のネオジウム希土類磁石を用いる回転子を有する8極の電動機と
を備えたことを特徴とする圧縮機。 - 冷媒を圧縮する圧縮要素と、
前記圧縮要素を駆動し、鉄、ネオジウム、ボロン及びディスプロシウムを含むネオジウム希土類磁石であって、ディスプロシウムの含有量が2重量%以下のネオジウム希土類磁石を用いる回転子を有する10極の電動機と
を備えたことを特徴とする圧縮機。 - 前記電動機の固定子鉄心は、分割コアにより構成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の圧縮機。
- 前記電動機の固定子の巻線絶縁は、PETフィルムにより構成されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の圧縮機。
- 冷媒にR32を用いたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の圧縮機。
