有色干渉顔料の色が、有色干渉顔料の不在下で染料を含む組成物により反射される色の補色となるように選択される、液体洗剤組成物が提供される。
本発明の液体組成物は、洗濯、又は硬質表面清浄処理組成物等の他の表面清浄処理組成物として使用するのに好適である。好ましくは、本発明の液体組成物は、洗濯処理組成物として使用するのに適している。
本発明による組成物は、組成物が少なくとも2色効果、好ましくは多色効果を示すのを助ける審美系を含む。審美系は、第1の必須要素として有色干渉顔料を含み、第2の必須要素として染料系を含む。より具体的には、審美系は、有色干渉顔料と、有色干渉顔料の補色を示す染料系との組み合わせで作製される。
「有色干渉顔料」とは、本明細書では、表面を見る角度によって色相が変化する光学現象である、玉虫色を示す顔料を意味する。本発明による有色干渉顔料は、粘土等の一般的な不溶性鉱物とは異なり、液体洗剤組成物に優れた玉虫色審美性を付与し、干渉効果の明白な証拠をもたらす。
審美系は、第2の必須要素として染料系を含む。より具体的には、染料系は特に、有色干渉顔料の補色を示すという観点で選択される。
本発明による組成物は、清浄系を含有する。清浄系は、界面活性剤を含む。清浄系は、布地を洗濯するのに十分な界面活性剤を必要とする、即ち、界面活性剤が低濃度で乳化剤として用いられることがある化粧品等の組成物とは異なる。
使用される洗浄性界面活性剤は、アニオン性、非イオン性、双極性イオン、両性、若しくはカチオン性の種類のものであってもよく、又はこれらの種類の界面活性剤の相容性混合物を含んでもよい。より好ましくは、界面活性剤は、アニオン性、非イオン性、カチオン性の界面活性剤、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される。好ましくは、組成物は、ベタイン界面活性剤を実質的に含まない。
好ましくは、本発明による組成物は、1種又は数種の洗濯助剤を更に含有する。
本発明の好ましい実施形態では、組成物は、非常に好ましい洗濯助剤としてレオロジー変性剤を含む。レオロジー変性剤は、減粘剤を除く構造剤又は増粘剤である。レオロジー変性剤は、非ポリマー結晶性のヒドロキシ官能性材料、ポリマーレオロジー変性剤からなる群から選択され、組成物の水性液体マトリックスにずり減粘特性を付与する。かかるレオロジー変性剤は、好ましくは、水性液体組成物に、21℃において、20s−1で、1〜10000mPa*sの高剪断粘度、及び2000mPa*s超の低剪断粘度(21℃において、0.05s−1)を付与するものである。本発明による粘度は、直径40mm及び間隙サイズ500μmで、平板の鋼製スピンドルを用いるTA instruments製のAR 550レオメーターを使用して測定される。20s−1での高剪断粘度、及び0.5s−1での低剪断粘度は、21℃において3分間の0.1s−1〜25s−1の対数剪断速度曲線から得ることができる。結晶性、ヒドロキシ官能性材料はレオロジー変性剤であり、それはマトリックス中のその場での結晶化により組成物のマトリックスの全体にわたって糸状構造系を形成する。ポリマーレオロジー変性剤は、好ましくはポリアクリレート、ポリマーゴム、その他の非ゴム多糖類、及びこれらのポリマー材料の組み合わせから選択される。そのようなレオロジー変性剤を本明細書の組成物に添加する総合的な目的は、製品の厚さ、製品の注入可能性、製品の光学的特性、及び/又は粒子の懸濁性能の観点から、適切に機能的であり、審美的に満足できる液体組成物に到達することである。こうしてレオロジー変性剤は、一般的に液体製品の適切なレオロジー特性を確立するのに役立ち、不適格な光学的特性又は望ましくない相分離などのような製品に対する望ましくないあらゆる属性を付与すること無しに役立つ。一般的にレオロジー変性剤は、本明細書の組成物の、0.01重量%〜1重量%、好ましくは0.05重量%〜0.75重量%、より好ましくは0.1重量%〜0.5重量%含まれる。

本発明の組成物はまた、洗濯助剤として、蛍光増白剤(FWA)としても知られている1種以上の光学的光沢剤を含んでもよい。これら光学的光沢剤は、スペクトルの紫外線領域の光を吸収し、それを可視青色範囲で再放出する。光学的光沢剤は、布地又は綿の衣類等の洗濯される衣類上に沈着し、そこで蛍光を発する。これは、経時的に又は繰り返し洗浄するにつれて、白色布地上で生じる白色度の低下及び/又は黄ばみを補正するのを助ける。蛍光染料のように、本明細書における光学的光沢剤は、上記で定義された必須及び非蛍光染料の定義の範囲外である。
本発明の別の実施形態では、組成物は、洗濯助剤として布地ケア有益剤を含む。本明細書で使用するとき、「布地ケア有益剤」は、その材料が適切な量で衣類/布地の上にあるときに、布地ケアに効果を与えるあらゆる材料を指し、例えば、布地柔軟化、着色保護、毛玉/毛羽削減、磨耗防止、皺防止、などの効果を衣類及び布地、特に綿及び綿が多い衣類並びに布地に対して与える。布地ケア有益剤の非限定的な例としては、カチオン性界面活性剤、シリコーン、ポリオレフィンワックス、ラテックス、油性糖誘導体、カチオン性多糖類、ポリウレタン、脂肪酸、及びこれらの混合物が挙げられる。布地ケア有益剤は、組成物中に存在する場合、ある実施形態において、好適には、組成物の最高30重量%、より一般的には1重量%〜20重量%、好ましくは2重量%〜10重量%の濃度である。本発明の目的のため、シリコーン誘導体は、布地ケア効果を与えることができ、エマルション、ラテックス、分散物、懸濁剤等として液体処理組成物中に組み込むことができる、あらゆるシリコーン材料である。洗濯製品には、これらは好適な界面活性剤と共に組み入れるのが最も一般的である。
本明細書で使用するとき、「沈着助剤」は、洗濯中に布地ケア有益剤の布地への沈着を顕著に高める、あらゆるカチオン性ポリマー又はカチオン性ポリマーの組み合わせを指す。有効な沈着助剤は、好ましくはファンデルワールス力のような物理的力又は水素結合及び/又はイオン結合のような非共有性の化学結合によって、非水溶性の布地ケア有益剤と強力に結合する能力を有する。それは、好ましくは、天然の布地繊維、特に綿繊維に対して非常に強い親和力を有する。好ましくは、沈着助剤はカチオン性又は両性ポリマーである。本発明の両性ポリマーは、やはりカチオン性の正味電荷を有し、即ち、これらのポリマー上にあるカチオン性電荷の合計が、アニオン性電荷の合計を上回る。ポリマーのカチオン性電荷密度は、約0.05ミリ当量/g〜約6ミリ当量/gの範囲にある。電荷密度は、反復単位当りの正味電荷数を反復単位の分子量で除算して計算される。一実施形態において、電荷密度は0.1ミリ当量/g〜3ミリ当量/gの間で変化する。正電荷は、ポリマーの主鎖又はポリマーの側鎖上に存在することができる。沈着助剤の非限定的な例は、カチオン性多糖類、キトサン及びその誘導体、並びにカチオン性合成ポリマーである。より具体的には、好ましい沈着助剤は、カチオン性ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、カチオンデンプン、カチオン性グアー誘導体及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される。
本発明の組成物は、任意でビルダーを含んでもよい。好適なビルダーを以下に記載する。好適なポリカルボキシレートビルダーとしては、環状化合物、特に米国特許第3,923,679号、同第3,835,163号、同第4,120,874号及び同第4,102,903号に記載されるもののような脂環式化合物が挙げられる。他の有用な洗浄性ビルダーとしては、エーテルヒドロキシポリカルボキシレート、無水マレイン酸のエチレン又はビニルメチルエーテルとのコポリマー、1,3,5−トリヒドロキシベンゼン−2,4,6−トリスルホン酸、及びカルボキシメチルオキシコハク酸、エチレンジアミン四酢酸及びニトリロ三酢酸のようなポリ酢酸の各種アルカリ金属塩、アンモニウム塩及び置換型アンモニウム塩、並びにメリト酸、コハク酸、オキシジコハク酸、ポリマレイン酸、ベンゼン−1,3,5−トリカルボン酸、カルボキシメチルオキシコハク酸、及びこれらの可溶性塩のようなポリカルボキシレートが挙げられる。
その他の好適な洗濯助剤材料の例としては、トリメトキシ安息香酸又はこれらの塩(TMBA)のようなアルコキシル化安息香酸又はこれらの塩;酵素安定化系;アミノカルボキシレート、アミノホスホネート、窒素非含有ホスホネート、及びリン及びカルボン酸塩非含有キレート剤を含むキレート剤;ゼオライトのような無機ビルダーを含む無機ビルダー及びポリアクリレート、アクリレート/マレエートコポリマーなどのような水溶性有機ビルダー、及びアニオン染料固着剤、アニオン性界面活性剤の錯化剤、及びこれらの混合剤を含むスカベンジング剤;過酸化水素及びカタラーゼを含む発泡性系;汚れ放出ポリマー;分散剤;泡抑制剤;染料;着色剤;硫酸ナトリウムのような増量剤塩;トルエンスルホネート、キュメンスルホネート、及びナフタレンスルホネートのようなヒドロトロープ;光活性化剤;加水分解性界面活性剤;防腐剤;酸化防止剤;収縮防止剤;防皺剤;殺菌剤;殺真菌剤;色スペックル;着色ビーズ、球状物又は押出し品;日焼け止め剤;フッ素化化合物;粘土;発光剤又は化学発光剤;耐腐食及び/又は器具保護剤;アルカリ性供給源又は他のpH調節剤;可溶化剤;加工助剤;顔料;フリーラジカルスカベンジャー、及びこれらの混合物が挙げられるが、これらに限定されない。好適な物質としては、米国特許第5,705,464号、同第5,710,115号、同第5,698,504号、同第5,695,679号、同第5,686,014号及び同第5,646,101号に記載されているようなものが挙げられる。上記成分の混合物は、どのような割合でも製造できる。
本明細書における組成物は、当業者に既知である、種々の好適な洗剤包装容器に包装することができる。液体組成物は、好ましくは、透明な又は半透明な容器、より好ましくは透明な容器に包装される。
本発明の組成物は、水溶性フィルムの中にカプセル化されてよい。水溶性フィルムは、ポリビニルアルコール又はその他の好適な変形物、カルボキシメチルセルロース、セルロース誘導体、デンプン、加工デンプン、ショ糖、PEG、ワックス、又はこれらの組み合わせから製造されてよい。
本明細書の組成物は、一般的に、成分を共に混合し有色干渉顔料を添加することにより調製できる。しかしレオロジー変性剤を使用する場合、最終的に組成物に含まれるために使用される水の一部の中にレオロジー変性剤が分散されているるプレミックスを最初に形成することが好適である。このプレミックスは、構造化された液体を含むように形成される。
1)プレミックスは、好ましくはプレミックスの約0.1重量%〜約5重量%の量の結晶性ヒドロキシル安定剤と、プレミックスの少なくとも20重量%を構成する水と、組成物に使用される1つ以上の界面活性剤と、所望により洗剤組成物に含まれるあらゆる塩類と、を組み合わせることにより形成される。
2)工程1)で形成されるプレミックスが、結晶性ヒドロキシル含有構造剤の融点を超えて加熱される。
3)工程2)で形成される加熱されたプレミックスが、混合物を攪拌しながら、糸状構造系がこの混合物内に形成されるように周囲温度に冷却される。
4)洗剤組成物成分の残部が残量の水と共に任意の順番で別個に混合され、それにより別個の混合物が形成される。
5)工程3)の構造化されたプレミックス及び工程4)の別個の混合物が、次に攪拌下で合わされて、構造化された水性液体マトリックスを形成し、それに目で識別されるビーズが組み込まれる。
以下の液体洗剤組成物は、列挙される比率で列挙される成分を混合することにより作製される(特に定めのない限り重量%)。

(3)硬化ヒマシ油は、Elementisから入手可能なThixcin(登録商標)である。
(4)FWAは、Cibaから入手可能な蛍光増白剤Tinopal CBSである。
(5)ポリアクリレート増粘剤は、Noveonから入手可能なCarbopol Aqua 30である。

染料系を含む液体洗剤組成物の色決定方法
染料系を含む液体洗剤組成物の色決定は、液体洗剤組成物の吸収の測定により決定される。
平行光線を、段付モーター駆動に実装された反射回折格子上に照射する。格子から反射される光線は、特定の波長を有し、液体サンプルを含む透明なセルを通して、鏡を介して照射される。次いで、セルを通過するビームを、光の強度が光線の強度に比例して電気信号に変換される光ダイオードに照射する。サンプルにぶつかる入射光線(I0)と透過光(I)との間の差が、吸収光(I0−I)であり、サンプル中に存在する所定の化学化合物の濃度に比例する。回折格子を移動させることにより、他の波長を選択することができる。

本明細書に開示される寸法及び値は、列挙された正確な数値に厳しく制限されるものとして理解されるべきでない。それよりむしろ、特に指定されない限り、各こうした寸法は、列挙された値とその値周辺の機能的に同等の範囲の両方を意味することを意図する。例えば、「40mm」として開示された寸法は、「約40mm」を意味することを意図する。
Claims (16)
- 少なくとも2色効果を示す液体洗剤組成物であって、
a)アニオン性、非イオン性、カチオン性の界面活性剤、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される界面活性剤を含む清浄系と、
b)380〜750nmの範囲の光スペクトルにおいて、吸収極小を示す、全組成物の0.001重量%〜0.1重量%の有色干渉顔料、
及び全組成物の0.0002重量%〜0.01重量%の染料、を含む審美系と、を含み、
前記有色干渉顔料の色が、前記有色干渉顔料の不在下で前記染料を含む前記組成物により反射される色の補色となるように選択されることを特徴とする、液体洗剤組成物。 - 前記染料が、380〜450nmの範囲に吸収極大を示し、前記有色干渉顔料が、570〜590nmの範囲に吸収極小を示す、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記染料が、450〜495nmの範囲に吸収極大を示し、前記有色干渉顔料が、590〜620nmの範囲に吸収極小を示す、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記染料が、495〜570nmの範囲に吸収極大を示し、前記有色干渉顔料が、620〜750nmの範囲に吸収極小を示す、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記染料が、570〜590nmの範囲に吸収極大を示し、前記有色干渉顔料が、380〜450nmの範囲に吸収極小を示す、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記染料が、590〜620nmの範囲に吸収極大を示し、前記有色干渉顔料が、450〜495nmの範囲に吸収極小を示す、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記染料が、620〜750nmの範囲に吸収極大を示し、前記有色干渉顔料が、495〜570nmの範囲に吸収極小を示す、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記清浄系中の前記界面活性剤は、全組成物の少なくとも5重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記有色干渉顔料の基材をコーティングする層の厚さが60nm超である、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記有色干渉顔料が、50マイクロメートル未満のD0.99粒径を有する、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記有色干渉顔料が、全組成物の0.01重量%〜0.05重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記染料が、全組成物の0.0005重量%〜最高0.005重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記液体洗剤組成物が、レオロジー変性剤及び/又は蛍光増白剤を更に含む、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記液体洗剤組成物が、レオロジー変性剤を含む、請求項13に記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、透明又は半透明な容器に包装される、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、カプセル化及び/又は単位化用量として包装される、請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載の組成物。
