Claims (13)
- 人間が履物を履く際に足を挿入して該履物の内側領域へ配置するための開口を有した人間の履物を滅菌する装置で、
前記履物の内側領域に存在する微生物の成長を阻害し、或いは微生物を破壊することにより履物を滅菌する波長範囲の放射線を放射する光源と、
前記履物の前記開口を通過し、前記履物の内側領域の内側に適合するような形状を有するとともに、複数の窓を含む骨格構造状に構成された中空の前部と、
前記中空の前部の後方に設置されるとともに、前記光源を稼働し、前記放射線を発生させるための電源からの電力を供給する踵部と、
前記放射線を、前記中空の前部の前記複数の窓を介して前記履物の内側領域へ向けて滅菌する位置に、前記光源を設定するようにした前記光源用の支持体と、
前記放射線への、外部の不要な暴露を阻止するとともに動作可能にセンサーに接続された安全スイッチ回路であって、前記センサーにより検出される放射線への不要な暴露がない場合に、前記光源への電力の印加を可能にする安全スイッチ回路と
を備えることを特徴とする履物滅菌装置。 - 前記中空の前部と前記踵部とを動作可能に接続する伸縮自在スパインを含むシューツリーを更に備え、
前記中空の前部が、前記光源と、当該光源用の支持体と、前記放射線を前記履物の内側領域の微生物上に入射伝播し得る前記複数の窓とを含む請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記伸縮自在スパインが伸張範囲を有し、また
前記踵部が前記伸縮自在スパインの前記伸張範囲を変更するために使用者がつかむのに適したハンドルを含む請求項2に記載の装置。 - さらに、滅菌中に前記放射線が前記履物の近くに位置する個体を害することを防止する光遮断器を備え、
前記光遮断器が、前記履物の周囲に適合するように構成された外部格納装置を含む請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記履物が外面を有し、また
前記格納装置が前記履物の外面の少なくとも大部分を覆うに適合したシャワーキャップの形をしている請求項4に記載の装置。 - 前記履物が外面を有し、また
前記格納装置が前記履物の外面の少なくとも大部分を覆うに適合したバッグの形をしている請求項4に記載の装置。 - 前記光源が紫外線(UV)光を放出する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記光源が電球を含む請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記光源が可視光を放出する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記光源が発光ダイオード(LED)を含む請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記シューツリーが香り付き材料を含む請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記安全スイッチ回路は、周辺光センサーを更に備え、
前記周辺光センサーは、前記履物の内側領域内に設置するように構成され、かつ、前記安全スイッチ回路と動作可能に結合して前記履物の内側領域への光の漏出の存在を検出することにより前記光源の動作を停止して放射線の放出を阻止する請求項1に記載の装置。 - さらに、履物を滅菌する時間的な動作手順を提供する制御回路を備え、
該制御回路は、使用者が操作する電源オン制御に動作可能に接続され、該電源オン制御は、使用者による該電源オン制御の起動から光源の稼働までと定義される予備期間を開始し、該予備期間は、前記放射線への不要な暴露がないことを確実にするうえで十分な期間であり、
前記制御回路は、前記放射線が前記履物を滅菌する所定動作時間帯を与えるとともに、
前記安全スイッチ回路に対応して、前記所定動作時間帯における前記放射線への不要な暴露の検出により、前記光源の動作を停止する、請求項1に記載の装置。
