Description
本願は、2009年5月19日に出願された米国特許出願番号61/179,422号の利益を主張しており、その内容は参照によりここに導入される。
空気モータの操作を制御するのに使用される四方バルブは、機械的に操作されるか又は空気圧で操作されるかのいずれかである。バルブが空気圧で操作される場合、バルブはパイロットシステムによって作動され、通常は、ポンプがその行程の一端又はもう一方の端にある時を検知する一対のパイロットバルブを有する。図1を参照。
本発明によって、バルブが一旦作動されると、バルブの流れに影響を与えることなく制御する空気圧回路とは独立に、適切にバルブを開状態にし、かつ空気圧による戻り止め付きバルブのヒステリシスを増大させることができる。
空気モータの操作を制御するために、四方バルブ10が一般に用いられており、空気作動可能となっている。そのような四方バルブ10は一般的に良く知られている。四方バルブ10はパイロットシステムによって作動する。パイロットシステムは、通常、ポンプ(ピストン16又は他の部材)がポンプの行程の一端又はもう一方の端にあるときを検知するパイロットバルブ14のペアを有している。図1を参照。従来技術のパイロットバルブは、図1及び2に示されているように、14と付されており、一方、本願のパイロットバルブは、図3に示されているように、20と付されている。従来技術のパイロットバルブ14と本願のパイロットバルブ20との類似部分については、同一の番号が付されている。
Claims (2)
- 空気モータに用いられるための四方バルブを制御するのに用いるパイロットバルブであって、前記パイロットバルブは、ポペットバルブ、該ポペットバルブを作動させる作動ピン、入口ポート部、信号ポート部、前記ポペットバルブを付勢するストレージスプリング及び上部スプリングをハウジング内に備えており、
前記ポペットバルブの上にある前記パイロットバルブの前記信号ポート部を制限し、かつ圧力低下を生じさせるために、前記パイロットバルブにスライドバルブが取り付けられているパイロットバルブ。 - 前記スライドバルブは、前記パイロットバルブの上流側での圧力低下にかかわらず、前記信号ポート部において制限を生み出す一方、一旦パイロットバルブが作動すれば前記入口ポートから前記信号ポートへの十分な流れをも許容する請求項1に記載のパイロットバルブ。
