Abstract

Description

气动致动的控制阀
技术领域
本申请要求于2009年5月19日提交的美国专利申请号61/179,422的优先权,其内容通过参考合并于此。
背景技术
用于控制气动马达的操作的四通阀能够被机械地操作或者被气动地操作。当阀被气动地操作时,阀被控制(pilot)系统致动;所述控制系统通常是一对控制阀,该控制阀检测何时泵处于泵行程的一个末端或另一个末端,参见图1。
目前的用以气动地锁定(detent)控制阀并且产生期望的滞后的方法涉及的是引入储能弹簧与提升阀,见图2。当阀处于静止时,提升阀上方的气压比提升阀下方的压力高,这通常是大气压力。这一不同的压力产生保持阀关闭的净作用力。为了致动阀,致动销被挤压,这压缩储能弹簧,直到销接触提升阀为止。此时,阀开始打开并且提升阀上方的压力将开始下降。当压力下降的时候,保持阀关闭的力不再存在,并且储能弹簧能够伸展恢复到其标称长度,并且使阀急速打开(snapopen),从而产生期望的滞后。
当提升阀上方的压力由于系统容量、泄漏等变化而不下降时,采用这种方法可能存在问题。如果压力并不下降,那么控制阀不会急速打开并且不产生期望的滞后。
发明内容
本发明允许气动锁定的阀的适当的急速动作以及增加的滞后,而与气动回路无关,即一旦阀已经被致动,则其在不影响阀的流量的情况下进行控制。
本发明通过以下方式工作:不管控制阀上游的压降而在高压空气/信号端口处产生约束,同时一旦阀被致动则仍然允许足够的流动。
附加的滑阀被增加到控制阀,滑阀约束提升阀上方的控制阀的高压空气/信号端口,这产生压降,见图3。一旦致动销接触提升阀,则上述的额外压降迫使阀急速打开,从而产生滞后。一旦阀急速打开,滑阀移动以暴露该高压端口,从而消除约束,确保主四通阀完全致动。

具体实施方式
四通阀10通常用于控制气动马达12的操作,并且四通阀10能够被气动地操作。一般而言,这种四通阀10是众所周知的。该阀10被控制系统致动,所述控制系统通常是一对控制阀14,这对控制阀检测何时泵(活塞16或其他部件)处于泵行程的一个末端或另一个末端,见图1。如图1和2中所示,现有技术的控制阀被标记为14,而本发明的控制阀被标记为20,并在图3中示出。现有技术的阀14和本发明的阀20中的类似的相似部分采用相同的附图标记。
现有技术的阀14包括壳体26,该壳体在其中具有提升阀28以及高压空气进入端口30。致动销32在提升阀28的底部中滑动,直到其接触提升阀28的底部为止,从而强制运动。上部弹簧34向下偏压提升阀28,以将密封O形环36压靠于壳体26中的阀座38。储存(能量)弹簧40偏压致动销32,使之离开提升阀28。低压排气端口42允许从控制阀排气。高压空气/信号端口22被连接到四通阀10。
理想地,控制阀14具有某种滞后。通过以下方式使阀中的滞后有助于提升性能:当空气马达12改变方向时阻止控制阀立即关闭,从而确保控制阀14打开足够长时间,以充分地致动主四通阀10。
本发明的阀20通过以下方式工作:不管控制阀20上游的压降而在高压空气/信号端口22处产生约束,同时一旦阀20被致动则仍然允许足够的流动。
附加的滑阀24被增加到控制阀20,滑阀24约束提升阀28上方的控制阀20的高压空气/信号端口22,这产生压降,见图3。一旦致动销32接触提升阀28,则上述的额外压降迫使阀20急速打开,从而产生滞后。一旦阀20急速打开,则滑阀24移动以暴露该高压端口22,从而消除约束,确保主四通阀10完全致动。
可以想到的是,在不脱离所附权利要求书所限定的本发明的精神和范围的情况下,可以对控制阀进行各种改变和修改。

Claims (2)

1.一种控制阀,所述控制阀用于控制在气动马达中的四通阀,所述控制阀具有致动销、提升阀、进入口、信号端口、储能弹簧以及上部弹簧,其特征在于,所述控制阀还包括滑阀,所述滑阀附接到所述控制阀,以便约束在所述提升阀上方的所述控制阀的所述信号端口,并且产生压降。
2.根据权利要求1所述的控制阀,其中,所述滑阀不管所述控制阀上游的压降而在所述信号端口处产生约束,同时一旦所述控制阀被致动则仍然允许足够的流动。
