Description
Claims (6)
- 内燃機関用のピストン(10,110)であって、ピストン下側部分(15)とピストン上側部分(12)とが設けられており、両ピストン部分は、摩擦溶接によって互いに結合されていて、外側の環状の冷却通路(19)を形成しており、ピストン上側部分(12)は、リング溝(21,22,23)を備えた環状のリング部分(20)を有しており、該リング部分(20)の内壁(20′)が環状の外側の冷却通路(19)を画成している形式のものにおいて、リング部分(20)の下に、外側の環状の摩擦溶接シーム(29)が設けられており、該摩擦溶接シーム(29)の幅(b1)が、リング部分(20)の環状の下端面の半径方向幅に相当し、かつ最大でも、リング溝(21,22,23)の各溝底部(21′,22′,23′)とリング部分(20)の内壁(20′)との間における壁厚(d)と、同じ大きさであることを特徴とする、内燃機関用のピストン。
- 外側の環状の摩擦溶接シーム(29)の幅(b1)は、リング溝(21,22,23)の各溝底部(21′,22′,23′)とリング部分(20)の内壁(20′)との間における壁厚(d)と、同じ大きさである、請求項1記載のピストン。
- ピストン(10,110)の内側領域(24)と外側の環状の冷却通路(19)との間に、内側の環状の摩擦溶接シーム(30,130)が設けられている、請求項1又は2記載のピストン。
- 内側の環状の摩擦溶接シーム(130)の幅(b3)が最小でも、外側の環状の摩擦溶接シーム(29)の幅(b1)と同じ大きさである、請求項3記載のピストン。
- 内側の環状の摩擦溶接シーム(30)の幅(b2)が、外側の環状の摩擦溶接シーム(29)の幅(b1)よりも小さい、請求項3記載のピストン。
- ピストン下側部分(15)とピストン上側部分(12)とが少なくとも1つの摩擦溶接シーム(29;30,130)に沿って凹部(31)を形成しており、該凹部(31)内に溶接隆起部(32)が受容されている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載のピストン。
