Description
Claims (3)
- インクジェットシステムに用いるための複合小滴を生じさせる方法であって、
一組の流路群の中で第1の流体を第2の流体と接触させ、これらの流体の間の境界面が界面張力によって特徴づけられており、
前記第1の流体の単独の流れまたは前記第2の流体の単独の流れに摂動を与えることによって、前記第2の流体中の第1の流体の噴流に対して摂動を生じさせ、間隔をあけた第1の流体の小滴を前記第2の流体中で形成し、
前記第1及び第2の流体の複合物がオリフィスを通過して複合噴流を形成し、
前記複合噴流に摂動を生じさせてブレイクアップを開始し、
前記第1の流体の前記小滴が前記第2の流体の小滴の中にカプセル化されるようにする、方法。 - 連続インクジェットプリンタに用いるためのマイクロ流体装置であって、
第1の流体を供給するための少なくとも1つの第1の流路と、
第2の流体を供給するための少なくとも1つの第2の流路と、
第1の流体の小滴と第2の流体の複合物を通過させて複合噴流を形成するノズルと、
前記第1の流路と前記第2の流路の合流する部分と前記ノズルとの間にあり、前記第1の流体の噴流が前記第2の流体の中で生じる第3の流路と、
前記第1の流路の第1の流体または前記第2の流路の第2の流体に摂動を与え、前記第3の流路において、前記第1の流体の噴流が前記ノズルに到達する前に、前記第2の流体の中の第1の流体の噴流を分裂させて前記第2の流体の中で、間隔をあけた前記第1の流体の小滴を形成させる第1摂動手段と、
前記ノズルの近傍に配置され、前記複合噴流の流れに摂動を生じさせてブレイクアップを開始させ、前記第1の流体の前記小滴が前記第2の流体の小滴の中にカプセル化させる第2摂動手段と、
を備えるマイクロ流体装置。 - 連続インクジェットプリンタに用いるためのマイクロ流体装置であって、
第1の流体を供給するための少なくとも1つの第1の流路と、
第2の流体を供給するための少なくとも1つの第2の流路と、
前記第1及び第2の流体の複合物を通過させて複合噴流を形成するオリフィスと、
前記第1の流体を供給する流路に設けられ、前記第1の流体に摂動を与えることで、前記第1の流体が前記オリフィスに到達する前に、前記第2の流体の中に前記第1の流体の小滴の形成を開始させる第1摂動手段と、
前記オリフィス近傍に配置され、前記複合噴流の流れに摂動を生じさせて前記複合噴流のブレイクアップを開始し、前記第1の流体の前記小滴が前記第2の流体の小滴の中にカプセル化されるようにする第2摂動手段と、
を備える、マイクロ流体装置。
