Claims (12)
- フュージョンダウンドロープロセスにおいて溶融ガラスを搬送する槽の間の間隙を封止する装置であって、
溶融ガラスを均質化する調整部、
開口している遠位端および前記調整部に連結されて溶融ガラスを流す近位端を有している第1導管、
入口、溝、および合流成形面を画成する成形本体、
開口している遠位端および前記成形本体の入口に連結されて溶融ガラスを該成形本体中に流す近位端を有している第2導管であって、前記第1導管の遠位端付近の該第1導管の少なくとも第1部分が、前記第2導管と接触することなく前記第2導管内に配置され、前記第2導管内の溶融ガラスの自由表面を第1雰囲気に曝す間隙が前記第1導管と前記第2導管との間に存在している、該第2導管、
前記第2導管の開口遠位端から延びている前記第1導管の第2部分近傍に配置された、柔軟なバリア、
前記第1導管に結合された第1封止フランジ、
前記第2導管に結合された第2封止フランジ、を備え、さらに、
前記柔軟なバリア、前記第1封止フランジ、および前記第2封止フランジが、前記第1雰囲気を周囲雰囲気から分離する、気密シールを構成することを特徴とする装置。 - 前記柔軟なバリアが蛇腹部であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記第1および第2フランジ夫々が、内側リングと、該各内側リングに結合された外側リングとを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記第1導管のフランジおよび前記第2導管のフランジの両方の内側リングが白金を含むことを特徴とする請求項3記載の装置。
- 前記第1導管および前記第2導管が白金を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記柔軟なバリアが、前記第1および第2導管と電気的に絶縁されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記第1フランジの前記内側リングが非平面であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記第1雰囲気が前記第1導管ケーシング内部の雰囲気と異なることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記第2導管の位置が、前記第1導管の位置を変化させることなく変化可能であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記柔軟なバリアがニッケルまたはクロムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記柔軟なバリアが非磁性であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記第1または前記第2導管が、アースと電気的に絶縁されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
