Description
一般に、二軸押出機は、300回転/分以上で用いることが多く、このような条件においては、高いせん断が加わるため、樹脂が劣化してしまう可能性がある。
押出機の定量部のシリンダー温度を120℃にして実験を行った。他の条件は実施例2と同様とした。
押出機の定量部のシリンダー温度を400℃として実験を行った。他の条件は実施例2と同様とした。
図4に示すピストン式の圧縮機を用いてせん断力を加えずにシリンダー内の温度を170℃、シリンダー内の圧力を5MPaとして圧縮した。
押出機の先端部に反応装置を取り付け、押出機の定量部のシリンダー温度を120℃とし、反応容器内の温度を250℃とした。反応容器内に薬剤としてエチレングリコールを注入した場合に薬剤が供給部側へ逆流するかどうかを確認した。他の条件は実施例4と同様とした。
ロールに発泡ポリウレタンを供給し、加熱してせん断力を加える工程を複数回繰り返し、累積して2分間混練した。ロールのサイズは6インチであり、前後のロールそれぞれの回転速度は、22rpm、 18rpmとし、クリアランスtを10mmにした。この条件においては、発泡ポリウレタンに加わるせん断速度は3.2s−1に相当する。ロールの表面温度は190℃とした。ロール間の圧力は1MPaとした。
(比較例6)
押出機は、シリンダー内径Dが55mm、Rが4、L/Dが10の二軸押出機を用いた。スクリューの回転速度は300rpm、クリアランスtは1mm、せん断速度は832s−1とし、定量部のシリンダーの温度は170℃に設定した。定量部の圧力は最小値が4MPaで、最大値が5MPaの範囲で押出中に変動した。
Claims (2)
- 発泡ポリウレタンを供給し、130℃以上350℃以下に加熱し、20s−1以上550s−1以下のせん断速度を加え、0.2MPa以上に加圧して前記発泡ポリウレタンの圧縮をすることにより減容する工程と、前記せん断速度を加えられた発泡ポリウレタンに薬剤を注入し、前記薬剤の蒸気圧以上となるようにして、前記発泡ポリウレタンを化学的に分解する工程を有し、減容後の前記発泡ポリウレタンの密度を0.5g/cm3以上とするものであり、前記発泡ポリウレタンの圧縮は、スクリュー押出機を用いて行い、前記スクリュー押出機は、シリンダーの内部に加圧部となるテーパを有するスクリューを備えた単軸押出機であり、前記薬剤は、エチレングリコールであることを特徴とする発泡ポリウレタンの処理方法。
- 供給される前記発泡ポリウレタンは、減圧下で粉砕脱気処理されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の発泡ポリウレタンの処理方法。
