Description

1.技術分野
本発明は一般に、細長い部材を保護するためのスリーブに関し、より特定的には、EMI/RFI/ESD遮蔽糸およびそれから構築されたスリーブに関する。
電磁干渉(electromagnetic interference)(EMI)、無線周波数干渉(radio frequency interference)(RFI)および静電放電(electrostatic discharge)(ESD)が、電子部品の適正な働きに対して、近傍の導体と伝搬電磁波との間の誘導結合に起因する干渉によって生じる潜在的な問題を招く恐れがあるということは公知である。電子システムは、回路内の電流の流れに起因して電磁エネルギを発生させる。この電磁エネルギは、周囲の電子部品が回路内で直接通じていようと、近傍に位置していようと、それらの性能に悪影響を及ぼす恐れがある。たとえば、自動車の電力システムに関連する導体中の電流は、電子モジュールなどのさまざまな電子部品においてスプリアス信号を生じさせ得る。このような干渉は、車両における電子モジュールまたは他の部品の性能を劣化させる恐れがあり、それによって車両は所望の動作以外の動作を行なうことになる。同様に、コンピュータネットワークまたは他の通信システムにおいてデータを搬送する線に比較的密接に関連した電気配線間の誘導結合は、ネットワークを介して伝達中のデータに対して悪影響を与え得る。
図面をより詳細に参照して、図1は、本発明に従って構築されたハイブリッド糸またはフィラメント(以下、ハイブリッド糸部材12と称する)を少なくとも部分的に含む糸から構築されたスリーブ10を示す。本明細書中のフィラメントという用語は、必要に応じてフィラメントの種類に特に言及して、モノフィラメントおよび/またはマルチフィラメントを含むよう意図されている。ハイブリッド糸部材12(図5〜図16)は、特別の定めのない限り、非導電性モノフィラメント部材および/または非導電性マルチフィラメント部材(以下、単に非導電性部材14と称する)が、ミクロンサイズの連続的な導電性ワイヤフィラメントの撚り糸(以下、単にワイヤフィラメント16と称する)と撚り合せられる、および/または、ともに供されることにより形成される。個々のワイヤフィラメント16は、たとえば直径が約20〜100μmであり、スリーブ10内で束ねられた細長い部材13のための電磁干渉(EMI)、無線周波数干渉(RFI)および/または静電放電(ESD)保護のうちの少なくとも1つをスリーブ10に提供する。一旦封入されると、概して封入されたワイヤの束13は、誘導結合干渉または自己誘導内部反射干渉などの如何なる望ましくない干渉に対しても最適な保護を受け、それによって、ワイヤの束13に接続された如何なる電気部品にも所望の動作効率を提供する。したがって、スリーブ10は、束ねられたワイヤ13が、それらが接続された電気部品に対して、自己誘導された悪影響を与えることを防止し、また、束ねられたワイヤ13の、それらと直接電気的に通じていない近傍の電気部品との干渉も防止する。
Claims (13)
- EMI、RFIまたはESDのうちの少なくとも1つから細長い部材を保護するためのファブリックスリーブであって、
細長い非導電性モノフィラメントと、前記非導電性モノフィラメントの外面上に横たわる細長い連続的な導電性ワイヤフィラメントとを有する少なくとも1本のハイブリッド糸フィラメントを備え、
前記ワイヤフィラメントは、前記スリーブの一部に沿って前記ワイヤフィラメント自体とまたは前記ワイヤフィラメントのうちの他のワイヤフィラメントと電気的に通じるように織り合せられて、EMI、RFIまたはESDのうちの少なくとも1つから細長い部材を保護し、
少なくとも1本の非導電性マルチフィラメントをさらに含み、前記連続的な導電性ワイヤフィラメントは、前記少なくとも1本の非導電性マルチフィラメントの外面上に横たわっており、
前記非導電性モノフィラメントおよび前記非導電性マルチフィラメントは、それらの長さに沿って互いに実質的に当接する、ファブリックスリーブ。 - 少なくとも2本の前記連続的な導電性ワイヤフィラメントをさらに含み、前記連続的な導電性ワイヤフィラメントのうちの少なくとも1本は、前記非導電性モノフィラメントおよび前記非導電性マルチフィラメントの周りに延びており、前記連続的な導電性ワイヤフィラメントのうちの少なくとも1本は、単独で前記非導電性マルチフィラメントの周りに延びている、請求項1に記載のファブリックスリーブ。
- 前記少なくとも2本の連続的な導電性ワイヤフィラメントは、互いに逆の螺旋方向に延びている、請求項2に記載のファブリックスリーブ。
- 前記少なくとも2本の連続的な導電性ワイヤフィラメントは、互いに同じ螺旋方向に延びている、請求項2に記載のファブリックスリーブ。
- 前記非導電性モノフィラメントは、テクスチャ構造外面を有する、請求項1に記載のファブリックスリーブ。
- 前記非導電性モノフィラメントの前記外面上に付着したコーティング材料をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のファブリックスリーブ。
- 前記非導電性モノフィラメントの周りに供されたまたは撚られた1対の前記非導電性マルチフィラメントをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のファブリックスリーブ。
