Claims (21)
- 試験センサ内に導入される試料ポートを有する1次エリアと実質的に化学的に隔離された少なくとも2つの2次分析領域とを有するリザーバを形成する少なくとも2つの基材であって、1回または数回の分析の間に、2次分析領域間で試薬の拡散混合または対流混合が実質的に起こらない2つの基材と、
前記リザーバ内に配置された第1の導体および試薬組成物を含む少なくとも1つの第1の作用電極と、
第1の2次分析領域内に配置された第2の導体および少なくとも1つの第1の酸化還元種を含む少なくとも1つの第1の対電極と、
第2の2次分析領域内に配置された第3の導体および少なくとも1つの第2の酸化還元種を含む少なくとも1つの第2の対電極と、を含み、
前記作用電極、前記第1の対電極および前記第2の対電極は、独立に電気的にアドレス指定可能であり、
電極対をなす作用電極と対電極は、実質的に化学的に隔離された環境中に存在し、1つの前記第1の作用電極は分析物との特定の酸化還元電位を有し、所望の電位を有する第1の対電極または第2の対電極の1つと選択的に対にすることができ、
前記少なくとも1つの第1の作用電極は、前記第1及び第2の対電極の少なくとも2つと電極対として組み、それぞれは、実質的に化学的に隔離された環境中に存在し、前記対電極の少なくとも2つは異なる電位で動作可能である、分析物試験センサ。 - 少なくとも1つの2次分析領域が、前記1次エリアを挟んで他方の2次分析領域と対向する、請求項1に記載の試験センサ。
- 少なくとも2つの2次分析領域が、前記1次エリアを挟んで食い違っている、請求項1または2に記載の試験センサ。
- 前記2次分析領域のうち少なくとも1つの2次分析領域が、前記1次エリアから90°以外の角度で枝分れしている、請求項2または3に記載の試験センサ。
- 前記2次分析領域のうち少なくとも1つの2次分析領域が、前記1次エリアから90°未満の角度で枝分れしている、請求項2または3に記載の試験センサ。
- 実質的に化学的に隔離された少なくとも3つの2次分析領域と、
前記2次分析領域の1つに配置され、他方の2次分析領域内に配置された前記第1の対電極および前記第2の対電極の少なくとも一方から実質的に化学的に隔離されている前記第1の作用電極と、を備える、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の試験センサ。 - 前記リザーバが多重Tチャネル設計である、請求項6に記載の試験センサ。
- 前記リザーバが多重Yチャネル設計である、請求項6に記載の試験センサ。
- 前記第1の作用電極が、前記第1の対電極および前記第2の対電極から実質的に化学的に隔離されている、請求項6に記載の試験センサ。
- 各2次分析領域が単一の電極を含む、請求項6に記載の試験センサ。
- 実質的に化学的に隔離された少なくとも4つの2次分析領域を備え、各領域が1つの電極を含む、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の試験センサ。
- 前記電極のうち、2つの電極が作用電極であり、2つの電極が対電極である、請求項11に記載の試験センサ。
- 前記電極のうち、1つの電極が作用電極であり、3つの電極が対電極である、請求項11に記載の試験センサ。
- 第2の作用電極を含む、実質的に化学的に隔離された第4の2次分析領域をさらに備え、前記第1の作用電極と前記第2の作用電極とが一緒に電気的にアドレス指定される、請求項11に記載の試験センサ。
- 前記実質的に化学的に隔離された2次分析領域が、前記試料が前記リザーバに入り、前記2次分析領域へ流れるときに、前記試料が、2つ以上の電極を横切って別の電極に到達することがないように配置されている、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の試験センサ。

- 少なくとも2つの酸化還元種が異なり、この違いが、金属と電気活性有機分子との違い、および金属の元素識別の違いからなるグループより選択される、請求項17に記載の試験センサ。
- 前記異なる電位で動作する構成が、酸化還元対の異なる共役の比を有する、第1の酸化還元種と第2の酸化還元種によって提供される、請求項17に記載の試験センサ。
- 少なくとも1つの参照電極をさらに備える、請求項1から20のいずれか一項に記載の試験センサ。
