Claims (7)
- 軸部を有する金属部品に対して、前記軸部の外径面に硬化層を形成する高周波誘導加熱装置であって、
高周波電流が印加される四角形断面の角パイプからなる加熱コイルを備え、前記加熱コイルは、軸部の外径側に周方向に沿って配設される四半弧円状の第1上わたり部と、第1上わたり部の端部から軸部の軸方向に沿って下方に延びる第1柱部と、第1柱部の下端部から軸部の外径側に周方向に沿って延びる半弧円状の下わたり部と、下わたり部の端部から軸部の軸方向に沿って上方に延びる第2柱部と、第2柱部の上端部から外径側に周方向に沿って延びる四半弧円状の第2上わたり部とを有し、少なくとも、前記第1上わたり部と第2上わたり部とにおいて、四角形状内面の角部を維持した状態で、下面と内径面とのコーナ部の外面側のみに、肉厚範囲内に収まるように電流集中緩和用の面取り部を設けたことを特徴とする高周波誘導加熱装置。 - 前記面取り部は、C1からC3程度のC面取りにて構成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高周波誘導加熱装置。
- 前記面取り部は、R1からR3程度のR面取りにて構成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高周波誘導加熱装置。
- 前記金属部品は、車輪用軸受装置に用いられるハブ輪であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の高周波誘導加熱装置。
- 前記金属部品は、等速自在継手の外側継手部材であることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の高周波誘導加熱装置。
- 前記金属部品は、プロペラシャフト用スタブシャフトであることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の高周波誘導加熱装置。
- 前記金属部品は、アクスルシャフトであることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の高周波誘導加熱装置。
