一般路を12000km走行したタイヤを使用し、2名のドライバーによる官能試験を通じて、舗装路での走行中に生じるノイズの大きさを評価した。

Claims (3)
- トレッド面に、トレッド縁を含むショルダー陸部と、そのショルダー陸部の外側壁に開口し且つタイヤ周方向に間隔を設けて配置された複数の横溝とが形成されている空気入りタイヤにおいて、
タイヤ周方向に隣り合う前記横溝の間で、前記外側壁のタイヤ周方向における一端が他端よりもタイヤ幅方向内側に位置し、その外側壁の一端側から前記横溝に連通する空所が前記外側壁に面して形成され、
前記外側壁の他端に近い前記横溝の壁面に、タイヤ周方向に突出した爪部が設けられ、前記横溝の溝底を基準とした前記爪部の高さが先端に向かって漸減し、
前記爪部が、平面視にて先細りの形状となる頂面と、前記爪部の突出方向に向かってタイヤ幅方向外側に延びるタイヤ幅方向内側面とを有し、前記爪部のタイヤ幅方向内側面と前記横溝の壁面とでV字状に屈曲した壁面を構成することを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記爪部の先端における高さが前記横溝の溝深さの0〜50%である請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記爪部のタイヤ幅方向外側面が前記トレッド縁の延長方向に延び、前記外側壁が平坦に形成されている請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
