Claims (16)
- 周波数制御信号に応じた光周波数の光信号を出力する光源装置であって、
前記周波数制御信号を出力する制御信号発生部と、
前記周波数制御信号に応じた光周波数のレーザ光を出力するレーザ光源部と、
前記レーザ光の強度変化に基づくフィードバック回路を用いずに、前記レーザ光の強度変化を補償して、前記光周波数の変化に伴う強度変化を抑えたレーザ光を出力する光強度調整部と、
前記制御信号発生部と前記レーザ光源部との間に、前記周波数制御信号を前記レーザ光源部に供給するか否かを切り換えるスイッチ部と
を備え、
前記光強度調整部は、前記レーザ光源部からのレーザ光の増幅率を前記周波数制御信号に基づき調整して、前記周波数制御信号に応じたレーザ光の強度の変化を抑えて出力する光増幅部を有する光源装置。 - 前記光強度調整部は、前記周波数制御信号と逆相の強度制御信号を生成する位相反転部を有し、
前記光増幅部は、前記レーザ光源部から受け取ったレーザ光を、前記強度制御信号に応じた増幅率で増幅して出力する光増幅器を有する請求項1に記載の光源装置。 - 前記光増幅器は、注入する電流に応じた増幅率で増幅する半導体光増幅器である請求項2に記載の光源装置。
- 前記光増幅器は、入力レーザ光の強度の増加に伴って出力光の増幅率を減少させる請求項3に記載の光源装置。
- 前記位相反転部は、入力される前記周波数制御信号の位相をシフトして、前記周波数制御信号の位相を反転させる位相シフト装置を含む請求項2から4のいずれか1項に記載の光源装置。
- 前記位相反転部は、入力される前記周波数制御信号の正負を反転させるインバータ回路を更に含む請求項5に記載の光源装置。
- 前記位相反転部は、前記周波数制御信号を増幅する制御信号増幅部を更に有し、前記制御信号増幅部は、前記光強度調整部が前記レーザ光源部からのレーザ光の強度変化を抑えるべく、前記光増幅部に入力すべき制御信号の信号強度の周波数制御信号を出力する請求項2から6のいずれか1項に記載の光源装置。
- 前記光増幅部は、入力レーザ光の強度の増加に伴って出力光の増幅率を減少させる光ファイバ増幅器を有する請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の光源装置。
- 前記光ファイバ増幅器は、増幅率を飽和させる入力光強度を減少させる程度に長さを短くするか、または長くした希土類添加ファイバを有し、入力レーザ光の強度の増加に伴って出力光の増幅率を減少させる請求項8に記載の光源装置。
- 前記光ファイバ増幅器の後段に接続され、入力端から入力される光を出力端から出力させ、出力端から入力される光は減衰させて入力端への出力を阻止する光アイソレータを更に有する請求項9に記載の光源装置。
- 前記レーザ光源部は、半導体レーザを有し、前記周波数制御信号は、前記半導体レーザを駆動する駆動電流を変更する請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の光源装置。
- 光信号にジッタを発生させて出力する光信号発生装置であって、
周波数制御信号に応じた光周波数の光信号を出力する請求項1から11のいずれか1項に記載の光源装置と、
前記光源装置が出力した前記光信号を、前記光信号の光周波数に応じて遅延させて、前記光周波数に応じたジッタを前記光信号に印加する光ジッタ発生部と、
を備える光信号発生装置。 - 前記ジッタ発生部は、光の進行方向に対して周期的に屈折率を変化させた回折格子を含む請求項12に記載の光信号発生装置。
- 前記ジッタ発生部は、ファイバブラッググレーティングを含む請求項13に記載の光信号発生装置。
- 前記ジッタ発生部は、周波数分散値が連続的に変化する分散媒質を含む請求項12に記載の光信号発生装置。
- ジッタを重畳した電気信号を発生させる電気信号発生装置であって、
光信号にジッタを発生させて出力する請求項12から15のいずれか1項に記載の光信号発生装置と、
前記光信号発生装置が出力した光信号を、電気信号に変換する光電変換部と、
を備える電気信号発生装置。
