Claims (15)
- 収容部を具備した本体と前記本体をシールするカバーを含むケース;及び
前記収容部に収容される電極組立体;を含み、
前記電極組立体は、
第1電極集電体と、該第1電極集電体上に配置されかつ第1活物質でコーティングされたコーティング部と、前記第1活物質がコーティングされていない無地部を具備した第1電極板;
第2電極集電体と、該第2電極集電体上に配置されかつ第2活物質でコーティングされたコーティング部を具備した第2電極板;及び
前記第1電極板と第2電極板の間に介在するセパレータを含み、
前記第1電極板、セパレータ及び第2電極板は順に積層されており、
前記第1電極集電体と第2電極集電体は同じ形状及びサイズを有することを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記無地部は前記第1電極板のうち少なくとも一つのエッジに沿って位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極板は前記第1電極板の上部に位置する第1エッジから延びた第1電極タブを具備し、前記第2電極板は前記第1エッジに対応する前記第2電極板のエッジから延長された第2電極タブを具備することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記無地部は前記第1エッジ、及び前記第1電極板の下部に、且つ前記第1エッジの反対側に位置する第2エッジに沿って位置することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記無地部は前記第1電極板の側部の各々に位置する第3エッジ及び第4エッジに沿って位置することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第3エッジ及び第4エッジの長さは前記第1エッジの長さより短いことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記セパレータの表面積は前記第1電極板及び第2電極板の表面積より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記セパレータは互いに溶着されて前記第2電極板を覆う第1シート及び第2シートを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体は複数の第1電極板、第2電極板及びセパレータをさらに具備し、 前記セパレータのうち一つは各々の前記第1電極板及び各々の前記第2電極板の間に介在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 各々の前記第1電極板は前記第1電極板の上部に位置する第1エッジから延長された第1電極タブを具備し、各々の前記第2電極板は前記第1エッジに対応する前記第2電極板のエッジから延長された第2電極タブを具備することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の二次電池。
- 前記複数の第1電極板のうち一つの第1電極タブは前記第1電極板のうち少なくとも一つの他の電極板の第1電極タブと電気的に連結され、前記複数の第2電極板のうち一つの第2電極タブは前記第2電極板のうち少なくとも一つの他の電極板の第2電極タブと電気的に連結されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極タブは第1電極リードに電気的に連結され、前記第2電極タブは第2電極リードに電気的に連結されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極板、第2電極板及びセパレータらが共に積層されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第1電極板は正極板で、前記第2電極板は負極板であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記第2電極板のコーティング部の面積は第1電極板のコーティング部の面積より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
