Description
本願は、2008年9月16日付で出願された米国特許出願番号第61/097,260号に対する優先権を主張し、その全内容は参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明は、耐亀裂性又は低亀裂性の、減煙もしくは低煙の、非ハロゲンであるか又はハロゲンを全く含有しない(zero halogen-containing)化合物及びそれらの使用方法に関する。本発明は、例えば、電線ケーブル(特に「外装」ケーブル)及び通信媒体用の絶縁材料又は外被材料として用いられる、低煙、無ハロゲン(zero halogen)ポリマー類、具体的にはポリオレフィン組成物と呼ばれるものに特に適用可能である。電気的用途と非電気的用途が含まれる。
1〜約5重量パーセントのシリコーン防煙剤
0.1〜約1重量パーセントのコーティングもしくは加工助剤、例えば、ステアリン酸
を含めることができる。
Claims (10)
- A.エチレンエチルアクリレート(EEA)又はエチレンビニルアセテート(EVA)共重合体のうちの少なくとも1種;
B.α−オレフィン共重合体;
C.(1)シングルサイト触媒によって作製され、(2)0.5〜10重量パーセント(重量%)のMAH由来単位を含有し、かつ(3)融点温度が90℃未満である、無水マレイン酸(MAH)グラフト超低密度ポリエチレン(VLDPE);
D.難燃性無機充填剤;
E.任意の防煙剤;及び
F.任意の加工助剤
を含むハロゲンフリーコーティング組成物。 - EEA又はEVAのうちの少なくとも1種が、組成物の15〜25重量パーセント(重量%)を占め、α−オレフィン共重合体が、組成物の5〜20重量%を占め、MAHグラフトVLDPEが、組成物の3〜10重量%を占め、かつ、難燃性無機充填剤が、組成物の40〜65重量%を占める、請求項1に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 難燃性無機充填剤が、アルミナ三水和物と水酸化マグネシウムのうちの少なくとも1種である、請求項2に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 防煙剤がシリコーンオイルであり、組成物の1〜5重量%の量で存在する、請求項3に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 加工助剤がステアリン酸であり、組成物の0.1〜5重量%の量で存在する、請求項4に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記α−オレフィン共重合体が、0.91g/cm3又はそれ以下の密度を有するエチレン−α−オレフィン共重合体である、請求項5に記載のコーティング組成物。
- EEAが、5〜40重量%の間のエチルアクリレート由来単位を含み、EVAが、5〜40重量%の間のビニルアセテート由来単位を含む、請求項6に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤又は安定剤、帯電防止剤、色素、染料、核剤、抵抗率変性剤、スリップ剤、可塑剤、滑沢剤、粘度調整剤、粘着付与剤、ブロッキング防止剤、界面活性剤、エキステンダー油、金属不活性化剤、電圧安定剤、架橋剤、並びに架橋促進剤及び触媒からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の添加剤をさらに含む、請求項7に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物を含む、ケーブル保護用外側外被。
- 請求項9に記載の外側外被を含む、ケーブル。
