前記入力板に、接触による入力があったときに発生する前記赤外線の拡散光を、前記入力板よりも下方で検出する赤外線検出手段と、を含み、
前記入力板は、アクリル板又はクリスタルガラスであり、
前記支持板は、ガラス板であることを特徴とする。

Claims (18)
- 入力用画像を表示する表示パネルと、
該表示パネルより上方に設置され、前記入力用画像を透過させるとともに、赤外線が伝搬可能な材質で構成された入力板と、
該入力板に接触して設置され、該入力板に接触面から赤外線を入射する赤外線入射手段と、
前記表示パネルよりも下方に設けられた支持板と、
前記入力板に、接触による入力があったときに発生する前記赤外線の拡散光を、前記入力板よりも下方で検出する赤外線検出手段と、を含み、
前記入力板は、アクリル板又はクリスタルガラスであり、
前記支持板は、ガラス板であることを特徴とする入力装置。 - 前記接触面は前記入力板の側面であって、
前記赤外線入射手段は、前記入力板の側面に接着又は埋め込まれて複数個設置された赤外線発光ダイオードであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の入力装置。 - 前記接触面は前記入力板の底面に形成された突起面又は窪み面であって、
前記赤外線入射手段は、前記突起面又は前記窪み面に接着されて複数個設置された赤外線発光ダイオードであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の入力装置。 - 前記入力板の、前記赤外線入射手段が設置されていない前記側面に、内側に反射面を向けたミラーを設けたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の入力装置。
- 前記入力板の側面に、内側に反射面を向けたミラーを設けたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の入力装置。
- 前記赤外線検出手段は、前記表示パネルの各画素を構成するセル内に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の入力装置。
- 前記赤外線検出手段は、前記表示パネルよりも下方に設けられた赤外線撮像手段であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の入力装置。
- 前記赤外線撮像手段は、赤外線のみを透過するフィルタを備えた赤外線カメラであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の入力装置。
- 前記赤外線撮像手段を、複数含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の入力装置。
- 前記赤外線検出手段は、前記入力板よりも下方に設けられ、赤外線センサを画素状に配置したセンサパネルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の入力装置。
- 前記表示パネルは、液晶パネルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の入力装置。
- 前記表示パネルは液晶パネルであって、該液晶パネルよりも下方に該液晶パネルを照らすバックライトを更に備え、
前記赤外線撮像手段は、該バックライトに設けられたことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の入力装置。 - 前記バックライトは、表面に開口を有する拡散板を備え、
前記赤外線撮像手段は、前記開口から前記赤外線を検出可能に配置されたことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の入力装置。 - 前記拡散板の表面に、前記開口に対応した開口を有する偏光フィルムが設けられており、前記液晶パネルの裏面には偏光フィルムが設けられていないことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の入力装置。
- 前記バックライトが点灯しているときに前記赤外線入射手段を消灯させ、前記バックライトが消灯しているときに前記赤外線入射手段を点灯させるとともに、前記赤外線入射手段の点灯時に前記赤外線撮像手段による撮像を行う制御手段を更に有することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の入力装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記バックライト及び前記赤外線入射手段の点灯及び消灯が、パルス状に交互に行われるように撮像タイミングの制御を行うことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の入力装置。
- 前記表示パネルは液晶パネルであって、該液晶パネルよりも下方に該液晶パネルを照らすバックライトを更に備え、
複数の前記赤外線撮像手段は、マスターの赤外線撮像手段を1つ含み、該マスターの赤外線撮像手段に同期して残りの前記赤外線撮像手段及び前記バックライトがパルス制御されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の入力装置。 - 前記入力板よりも上方を通過するコードを読み取るために、下方から赤外線を発光させるコード読み取り用の赤外線発光手段を更に備え、
前記センサパネルは、所定の周波数で赤外線検出を行い、
前記赤外線入射手段は、前記所定の周波数に同期した赤外線入射タイミングのうち、所定周期で赤外線を入射しないタイミングを設け、
前記赤外線発光手段は、前記赤外線を入射しないタイミングのうちのいずれかに同期させて赤外線を発光させて前記センサパネルに前記コードを読み取らせるとともに、
前記赤外線を入射しないタイミングのうちの赤外線を発光しないタイミングを有し、赤外線を用いた入力手段による入力板への赤外線入力があったときには、前記センサパネルに前記赤外線入力を読み取らせることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の入力装置。
