Description
ベース層と、ベース層の表面に設けられる防滑層と、この防滑層の表面全面に形成される複数の繊維状突起物とを備え、
上記ベース層が、天然パルプ繊維とレーヨン繊維とを含有し、
ベース層におけるレーヨン繊維の含有量が10質量%以上30質量%以下であり、
上記防滑層が、スチレン及び/又はスチレン誘導体を含む単量体からなる共重合体を含有し、
上記繊維状突起物が、防滑層塗工前に上記ベース層表面のレーヨン繊維を手羽立たせ、さらに突起した上記ベース層のレーヨン繊維の周囲を防滑剤によって被覆したものである模様加工紙である。
ベース層原料としてセルロース系原料スラリー(NBKP(60質量%)、レーヨン繊維(3.0dtex×5mm、37質量%)、ビニロンバインダー繊維(1.1dtex×5mm、3質量%))を抄紙し、その後ヤンキードライヤー(表面温度105℃)で乾燥させ、坪量17g/m2(JIS−P8124「紙及び板紙−坪量測定方法」に準拠して測定)のベース層(基紙)を得た。
高分子分散剤の製造攪拌器、温度計、還流冷却管及び窒素導入管を備えた1リットルの四つ口フラスコに、水79.6部、イソプロピルアルコール153部、スチレン175部(77モル%)、80%アクリル酸水溶液19.7部(10モル%)、無水マレイン酸21.4部(10モル%)、スチレンスルホン酸ナトリウム13.5部(3モル%)、アゾイソブチロニトリル3.6部、過硫酸アンモニウム2.5部を加え、窒素気流下で混合攪拌しながら80℃に昇温し、1. 5時間保持した。過硫酸アンモニウムを2.5部追添加し、さらに1時間保持して重合反応を完結させた。ついで、48%の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液27.3部、水475部を加え、イソプロピルアルコールを留去し、48%の水酸化ナトリウム水溶液27.3部を加え、さらに水で希釈して濃度25%の高分子分散剤の水溶液を得た。
表1に記載のとおり原料の種類や配合量等を変更したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして実施例2〜18の模様加工紙を得た。なお、実施例18は防滑剤を塗布する前に、ベース層表面に非加圧熱ロール加工処理を施した。
防滑剤をビニル系防滑剤(比較例1)、アルミナ系防滑剤(比較例2)としたこと、防滑剤を塗布しなかった(比較例3)こと以外は実施例3と同様にして模様加工紙を得た。
(1)滑り角度
滑り角測定器(東洋精機社製)を用いてJIS−P8147(1994)傾斜方法に準じた方法により塗工面同士、流れ方向(縦)同士で測定し、5回の平均値を丸めた。
耐摩擦測定器(東洋精機社製)を用いてJIS−P8147(1994)水平方法に準じた方法により防滑層表面同士、流れ方向(縦)で測定し、5回の平均値を小数点以下2桁に丸めた。
KPPグラビアシステム(松尾産業社製)を用いて防滑層表面に、印刷を施した。インクとしては東洋インキ製造のDANNEC3−藍を使用し、インク量は5mlとした。
◎:インクの着色ムラ、インクの転移不良等が目視できない。
○:インクの着色ムラ、インクの転移不良等がわずかに目視できる。
△:インクの着色ムラ、インクの転移不良等があるが、実用上問題はない。
×:インクの着色ムラ、インクの転移不良等が多い。
JIS−P8119「紙及び板紙−ベック平滑度試験機による平滑度試験方法」に準拠して防滑層表面について測定した。
JIS−P8116に準拠して縦方向について測定した。
20名が表面を目視し、和紙調に見えるか否かを判断した。
◎:90%以上の人が和紙調の風合いがあると評価した。
○:70%以上90%未満の人が、和紙調の風合いがあると評価した。
△:50%以上70%未満の人が、和紙調の風合いがあると評価した。
×:和紙調の風合いを有すると評価した人が50%未満であった。
Claims (5)
- ベース層と、ベース層の表面に設けられる防滑層と、この防滑層の表面全面に形成される複数の繊維状突起物とを備え、
上記ベース層が、天然パルプ繊維とレーヨン繊維とを含有し、
ベース層におけるレーヨン繊維の含有量が10質量%以上30質量%以下であり、
上記防滑層が、スチレン及び/又はスチレン誘導体を含む単量体からなる共重合体を含有し、
上記繊維状突起物が、防滑層塗工前に上記ベース層表面のレーヨン繊維を手羽立たせ、さらに突起した上記ベース層のレーヨン繊維の周囲を防滑剤によって被覆したものである模様加工紙。 - 上記防滑層が、上記共重合体を含むエマルションの塗布により形成されており、
上記エマルションが、少なくともスチレン及び/又はスチレン誘導体と不飽和カルボン酸とを共重合して得られる高分子分散剤の存在下、スチレン及び/又はスチレン誘導体、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル並びに多官能性架橋性単量体からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の単量体を乳化重合することで形成される請求項1の模様加工紙。 - 上記ベース層における天然パルプ繊維の含有量が60質量%以上80質量%以下である請求項1又は請求項2に記載の模様加工紙。
- 上記ベース層におけるレーヨン繊維の繊度が0.7dtex以上5.4dtex以下であり、繊維長が3mm以上6mm以下である請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の模様加工紙。
- 上記防滑層表面のベック平滑度が40秒以上80秒以下である請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の模様加工紙。
