Description
本発明は、CFCsおよびHCFCsの代替品として永く続く必要性を満足させることを助けるいくつかの組成物を開発した。ある実施態様では、本発明は、1,1,1,3-テトラフルオロプロペン(“HFO-1234ze”)、好ましくはトランス-1,1,1,3-テトラフルオロプロペン(“transHFO-1234ze”)、ならびに、1,1-ジフルオロエタン(“HFC-152a”)、1,1,1,2,3,3,3-ヘプタフルオロプロパン(“HFC-227ea”)、1,1,1,2-テトラフルオロエタン(“HFC-134a”)、1,1,1,2,2-ペンタフルオロエタン(“HFC-125”)および2以上のこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの化合物成分を含む、または本質的にからなる共沸混合物様組成物を提供する。従って、本発明は、好ましい実施態様では、実質上CFCsおよびHCFCsを含まず、比較的一定の沸点および蒸気圧特性を示す共沸混合物様組成物を提供することによって、前述の欠点を克服する。
共沸混合物様組成物
本明細書中で用いられている用語「共沸混合物様」(“azeotrope-like”)は、広い意味で、厳密に共沸である組成物と共沸混合物に似た挙動を示す組成物の両方を含むつもりである。基本的理論から、流体の熱力学状態は、圧力、温度、液体組成および蒸気組成によって決まる。共沸混合物は、液体組成と蒸気組成が一定圧力および一定温度で等しい、2つ以上の成分系である。実際問題として、このことは、共沸混合物成分が一定沸騰であり、相-変化の間に分離されないことを意味している。
HFO-1234/HFC-134a

組成物付加物
本発明の共沸混合物様組成物は、さらに、潤滑剤、安定剤、メタルパッシベーター(metalpassivators)、腐食防止剤および火炎抑制剤等を含む任意の様々な所望の添加剤を含んでいても良い。
組成物の用途
本組成物は、広範囲の適用に用途を有する。例えば、本発明の一つの実施態様は、本発明の共沸混合物様組成物を含む冷媒組成物の様な熱伝達組成物と関連する。本発明の熱伝達組成物は、熱伝達適用での使用、即ち加熱および/または冷却媒体としての使用、に一般に適している。本発明の組成物は、1以上の他の化合物の組み合わせまたは化合物の組み合わせの内に広範な量で本共沸混合物様組成物を含んで良いと考えられるが、冷媒組成物を含む本発明の熱伝達組成物は、本共沸混合物様組成物から本質的になり、ある実施態様ではからなることが一般に好ましい。

実施例1
コンデンサーを備えた真空ジャケット付きチューブからなり、さらにその頂部にQuartz Thermometerを備え付けた沸点測定器を用いた。約21gのHFC-134aを沸点測定器に充填し、HFO-1234zeを、少量の測定された増量分として加えた。HFO-1234をHFC-134aに加えた場合に温度低下が認められ、このことは二成分最少沸騰共沸混合物が形成されていることを示している。約0より多く約51重量%までのHFO-1234zeでは、該組成物の沸点は、約1.3℃未満変化した。表1に示した二成分混合物について調査すると、該組成物の沸点は、約2℃未満変化した。該組成物は、この範囲では共沸混合物および/または共沸混合物様特性を示す。

コンデンサーを備えた真空ジャケット付きチューブからなり、さらにその頂部にQuartz Thermometerを備え付けた沸点測定器を用いた。約18gのHFO-1234を沸点測定器に充填し、次にHFC-227eaを、少量の測定された増量分として加えた。HFC-227eaをHFO-1234に加えた場合に温度低下が認められ、このことは二成分最少沸騰共沸混合物が形成されていることを示している。約0より大きく約53重量%までのHFC-227eaでは、該組成物の沸点は、約0.7℃未満変化した。表1に示した二成分混合物について調査すると、該組成物の沸点は、約1℃以下で変化した。該組成物は、この範囲では、共沸混合物および/または共沸混合物様特性を示している。

Claims (56)
- トランス−1,3,3,3−テトラフルオロプロペン(“transHFO−1234ze”)、ならびに1,1−ジフルオロエタン(“HFC−152a”)、1,1,1,2,3,3,3−ヘプタフルオロプロパン(“HFC−227ea”)、1,1,1,2−テトラフルオロエタン(“HFC−134a”)、1,1,1,2,2−ペンタフルオロエタン(“HFC−125”)からなる群より選択されるハイドロフルオロカーボン(HFC)化合物を含み、
前記HFCがHFC−134aであるとき、0より大きく75重量%までのtransHFO-1234zeおよび25重量%から100重量%未満のHFC-134aから本質的になり、
前記HFCがHFC−125であるとき、0より大きく60重量%までのtransHFO-1234zeおよび40重量%から100重量%未満のHFC−125から本質的になり、
前記HFCがHFC−152aであるとき、0より大きく50重量%までのtransHFO-1234zeおよび50重量%から100重量%未満のHFC−152aから本質的になり、
前記HFCがHFC−227eaであるとき、0より大きく60重量%までのHFC−227eaおよび40重量%から100重量%未満のtransHFO-1234zeから本質的になる、共沸混合物様組成物。 - 本質的に、0より大きく60重量%迄のtransHFO−1234zeおよび40から100重量%未満までのHFC−134aからなる、請求項1記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 本質的に、1より大きく40重量%迄のtransHFO−1234zeおよび60から99重量%までのHFC−134aからなる、請求項1記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 本質的に、5から35重量%迄のtransHFO−1234zeおよび65から95重量%以下までのHFC−134aからなる、請求項1記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 14.4psiaの圧力で−26℃から−23℃の沸点を有する、請求項1記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 14.4psiaの圧力で−26℃から−23℃の沸点を有する、請求項4記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 本質的に、2から15重量%迄のtransHFO−1234zeおよび85から98重量%までのHFC−125からなる、請求項1記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 14.4psiaの圧力で−50℃から−44℃の沸点を有する、請求項7記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 本質的に、0より大きく40重量%迄のtransHFO−1234zeおよび60から100重量%未満までのHFC−152aからなる、請求項1記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 本質的に、15から30重量%迄のtransHFO−1234zeおよび70から85重量%までのHFC−152aからなる、請求項1記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 14.4psiaの圧力で−26℃から−23℃の沸点を有する、請求項10記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 本質的に、1から40重量%迄のHFC−227eaおよび60から99重量%までのtransHFO−1234zeからなる、請求項1記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 14.4psiaの圧力で−17℃から−19℃の沸点を有する、請求項12記載の共沸混合物様組成物。
- 請求項1記載の組成物および少なくとも一つの補助剤を含む組成物であって、該補助剤が潤滑剤、融和剤、界面活性剤、火炎抑制剤、安定化剤、分散剤、細胞安定剤、化粧品、研磨剤、医薬品、洗浄剤、防火剤、着色料、化学滅菌剤、安定剤、ポリオール、ポリオール混合前成分およびこれらの2以上の組み合わせからなる群より選択される、該組成物。
- 該補助剤が少なくとも1つの潤滑剤を含む、請求項14記載の組成物を含む熱伝達組成物。
- 該潤滑剤が、鉱物油、シリコーン油、ポリアクリルベンゼン(PABs)、ポリオールエステル(POEs)ポリアルキレングリコール(PAGs)、ポリアルキレングリコールエステル(PAGエステル)、ポリビニルエーテル(PVEs)、ポリα−オレフィン)(PAOs)およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項15記載の熱伝達組成物。
- 該補助剤がさらに少なくとも1つの融和剤を含む、請求項15記載の熱伝達組成物。
- 該潤滑剤が共に熱伝達組成物の5から50重量%の量で存在する、請求項15記載の熱伝達組成物。
- 1つ以上の火炎抑制剤を含む、請求項16記載の熱伝達組成物。
- 1以上の該火炎抑制剤が共に熱伝達組成物の0.5から30重量%の量で存在する、請求項19記載の熱伝達組成物。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む熱伝達組成物。
- ジフルオロメタン(HFC−32)、1,1,1,3,3,3−ヘキサフルオロプロパン(HFC−236fa)、1,1,1,3,3−ペンタフルオロプロパン(HFC−245fa)、1,1,1,3,3−ペンタフルオロブタン(HFC−365mfc)、水、及びCO2から選択される1以上の共冷媒をさらに含む、請求項21記載の熱伝達組成物。
- 少なくとも50重量%の請求項1記載の組成物を含む、熱伝達組成物。
- 請求項21記載の熱伝達組成物を含む冷凍システム。
- 自動車用空調システム、住宅用空調システム、商業用空調システム、住宅用冷蔵庫システム、住宅用冷凍庫システム、輸送冷凍システム、商業用冷蔵庫システム、商業用冷凍庫システム、チラー空調システム、チラー冷凍システム、ヒートポンプシステムおよびこれらの2以上の組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項24記載の冷凍システム。
- 遠心圧縮機を用いるチラーである、請求項24記載の冷凍システム。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む発泡剤。
- 少なくとも5重量%の請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む発泡剤。
- 泡形成能力を有する1以上の成分と、請求項1記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む発泡剤とを含む、泡形成組成物。
- 熱可塑性泡及び熱硬化性泡からなる群より選択される泡形成能力を有する1以上の成分を含む、請求項29記載の泡形成組成物。
- 泡が、ポリスチレン泡、ポリエチレン泡、低密度ポリエチレン泡、及び押出熱可塑性泡から選択される熱可塑性泡である、請求項30記載の泡形成組成物。
- 泡が、ポリウレタン泡、ポリイソシアヌレート泡、及びフェノール性泡から選択される熱硬化性泡である、請求項30記載の泡形成組成物。
- 2以上の泡形成組成物部である、請求項32記載の泡形成組成物。
- 分散剤、細胞安定剤、界面活性剤、難燃剤およびこれらの2以上の組み合わせからなる群より選択される少なくとも1つの付加物をさらに含む、請求項29記載の泡形成組成物。
- 請求項34記載の泡形成組成物から形成される泡。
- 請求項34の泡形成組成物から形成されるセル性の泡。
- 請求項35記載の泡を含む密閉細胞泡。
- 冷媒システム内に含まれる現存する冷媒を置換する方法であって、該現存冷媒の少なくとも一部を該システムから除去し、該システム内に請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む冷媒組成物を導入することによって該現存冷媒の少なくとも一部を置換することを含む、該方法。
- 該現存冷媒が、HFC−134a、R−12,R−500、HFC−152aおよびHFC−22ならびにこれらの組み合わせからなる群より選択される、請求項38記載の方法。
- 該現存冷媒システムが第一置換を有する少なくとも1つの第一コンプレッサーを含み、さらに該第一コンプレッサーをシステムから除去する工程、および該システム内に該第一コンプレッサーより大きい置換を有する少なくとも一つの第2コンプレサーを挿入する工程を含む、請求項38記載の方法。

- 噴霧される材料および請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む推進薬を含む噴霧可能組成物。
- エーロゾルの形態である、請求項45記載の噴霧可能組成物。
- 噴霧される材料が、化粧品、クリーニング溶媒、潤滑剤、及び医薬材料からなる群から選択される、請求項45記載の噴霧可能組成物。

- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の組成物を凝縮し、その後冷却される物品の近隣で該組成物を蒸発させることを含む、物品の冷却方法。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の組成物を加熱される物品の近隣で凝縮し、その後該組成物を蒸発させることを含む、物品の加熱方法。

- 置換される冷媒および潤滑剤を含む冷凍システムを再充填する方法であって、(a)システム内の潤滑剤の実質的部分を保持しつつ冷凍システムから置き換えられる冷媒を除去する工程;および(b)請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の共沸混合物様組成物をシステムに導入する工程:を含む、前記方法。
