半径(r2)、0.5μmと1.5μmとの間に含まれる、r 2 −r 1 によって規定される幅(w2)、および−2.0×10 −3 と1.0×10 −3 との間に含まれる、外側光クラッドに対する屈折率差(Δn2)を有する第1内側クラッドと、
半径(r3)、0.9μmと1.6μmとの間に含まれる、r 3 −r 2 として規定される幅(w3)、および1×10 −3 と5.0×10 −3 との間に含まれる、外側光クラッドに対する正の屈折率差(Δn3)を有するリングである第2内側クラッドと
を含み、さらに
1550nmの波長で100μm2以上の実効面積と、

- 1625nmの波長の場合、30mmの曲率半径について0.05dB/100turns以下の曲げ損失を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の単一モード光ファイバ。
- 1550nmの波長の場合、ファイバのマイクロベンディング損失の、同一の制約を受ける標準的な単一モードファイバ(SSMF)のマイクロベンディング損失に対する比が2以下であるようなマイクロベンディング損失を有することを特徴とする、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の単一モード光ファイバ。
