以下、本発明の好ましい実施例及び試験例について本発明の属する技術分野における通常の知識を有する者が容易に実施することができるように詳しく説明する。しかし、これらは、本発明を詳細に説明するために提供されるものに過ぎず、本発明の範囲がこれらに限定されるものではない。
本実施例は、全体2kgの固体脱硫剤原料のうち活性成分として酸化亜鉛(ZnO)46.7%、支持体としてC級(Microcel−C)とE級(Microcel−E)合成カルシウムシリケート23.3〜32.6%、無機結合剤として14〜23.3%、増進剤として酸化ニッケル(NiO)を6.7%を組成比にする脱硫剤製造に関する例である。
この実施例では、製造された脱硫剤を選別せず、脱硫剤の形状、サイズ及び分布、充填密度(ASTM D4164−88)、BET、反応性などの特性を測定した結果である。初期の反応性と硫黄吸収力は、シミュレート石炭ガス(10.4vol% H2、16.8vol% CO、6.1vol%
CO2、10vol% vapor、3vol%H2S、N2 Balance)で500℃、常圧で重さ重量分析機(Rheometrics STA−1500)で測定した結果である。試験に使用した試料の重さは、10mgで、全体流量は分当たり50mlである。
この実施例では、噴霧乾燥法で成形された脱硫剤の耐摩耗性(Attrition Resistance)を測定した。耐摩耗性は、流動層または高速流動層脱硫工程で要求される最も重要な指標の1つである。製造された脱硫剤の耐摩耗性は、米国材料試験協会(ASTM;American Society for Testing Materials)D5757−95を準用して製作された耐摩耗測定装置(3−hole attrition tester)を利用して規格で提示する試験方法と手順によって測定した。
Claims (10)
- 炭素を含む燃料のガス化によって生成される合成ガスから硫黄成分を除去する亜鉛系脱硫剤として固体脱硫剤原料が湿式粉砕によりスラリー化され、噴霧乾燥方法で成形されて製造され、
上記固体脱硫剤原料は、固体脱硫剤原料のうち活性成分30〜60wt%、支持体30〜60wt%、再生増進剤5〜15wt%、及び無機結合剤5〜15wt%で構成され、
上記無機結合剤は、類似ベーマイト、ハイドロタルサイト、ベントナイト及びカオリンの中から選択された少なくとも1つを含み、
上記固体脱硫剤原料が均質にスラリー化されるように上記固体脱硫剤原料重量に対して0.5〜10wt%の陰イオン系分散剤、0.1〜1wt%の消泡剤、及び0.5〜5wt%の有機結合剤で構成される有機添加剤が添加されることを特徴とする
噴霧乾燥方法で成形された亜鉛系脱硫剤。 - 上記活性成分は、酸化亜鉛であり、上記支持体は、合成カルシウムシリケートであり、上記再生増進剤は、酸化ニッケルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥方法で成形された亜鉛系脱硫剤。
- 上記ハイドロタルサイトは、
酸化カルシウムに対する酸化マグネシウムの比が0.3〜0.7であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥方法で成形された亜鉛系脱硫剤。 - 上記亜鉛系脱硫剤は、
平均粒子サイズが70〜150μm、粒子分布が30〜300μmであるものに成形されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥方法で成形された亜鉛系脱硫剤。 - 上記亜鉛系脱硫剤は、
粒子の形状が球形であり、充填密度が0.7g/ccであるものに成形されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥方法で成形された亜鉛系脱硫剤。 - 上記亜鉛系脱硫剤は、
摩耗指数が40%以下であるものに成形されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥方法で成形された亜鉛系脱硫剤。 - 硫黄吸収能が10g S/100gまたは上記固体脱硫剤原料対比10wt%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥方法で成形された亜鉛系脱硫剤。
- 上記有機結合剤は、
ポリビニルアルコール系、ポリグリコール系及びメチルセルロース系の中から少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥方法で成形された亜鉛系脱硫剤。 - a)固体脱硫剤原料のうち活性成分30〜60wt%、支持体30〜60wt%、再生増進剤5〜15wt%、及び無機結合剤5〜15wt%で構成された固体脱硫剤原料を用意する段階と、
b)上記固体脱硫剤原料を水に添加して混合し、湿式粉砕し、スラリーとして製造するスラリー化段階と、
c)上記スラリーを噴霧乾燥方法で成形し、脱硫剤造粒体として製造する噴霧乾燥段階と、を含み、
上記無機結合剤は、類似ベーマイト、ハイドロタルサイト、ベントナイト及びカオリンの中から選択された少なくとも1つを含み、
上記b)段階は、有機添加剤を上記スラリーに混合し、上記スラリーに含まれた固体脱硫剤原料を分散させて均質化させる段階を含み、
前記有機添加剤が、上記固体脱硫剤原料重量に対して0.5〜10wt%の陰イオン系分散剤、0.1〜1wt%の消泡剤、及び0.5〜5wt%の有機結合剤で構成されていることを特徴とする
噴霧乾燥方法で亜鉛系脱硫剤を製造する方法。 - 上記c)段階は、
加圧ノズルが設置された噴霧乾燥器を使用して向流式で上記スラリーを噴霧乾燥することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の噴霧乾燥方法で亜鉛系脱硫剤を製造する方法。
