Claims (6)
- 充電対象である二次電池の種類に対応して複数種備えたアダプタの1つが選択的に装着される装着部と、装着された前記アダプタを介して前記二次電池の充電を行う制御部とを具備する充電器であって、前記制御部は、特定種の前記二次電池専用のものとして設定される複数の特定充電制御と、前記特定種以外の前記二次電池のために設定される不特定充電制御とを、それぞれ別の充電制御として有し、装着した前記アダプタが有する識別情報に基づいて充電対象の前記二次電池が前記特定種のものであると判断される場合には、その特定種に対応した前記特定充電制御によって前記二次電池の充電を行い、充電対象の前記二次電池が前記特定種以外のものであると判断される場合には、前記不特定充電制御によって前記二次電池の充電を行うものであることを特徴とする充電器。
- 複数種の前記特定充電制御と、前記不特定充電制御とは、いずれも所定の充電電流値での定電流充電を行うものであり、前記不特定充電制御での前記充電電流値は、複数種の前記特定充電制御での前記充電電流値のうちの最低値、又はそれより低い値に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の充電器。
- 複数種の前記特定充電制御と、前記不特定充電制御とは、いずれも所定の充電電圧での定電圧充電を行うものであり、前記不特定充電制御での前記充電電圧値は、複数種の前記特定充電制御での前記充電電圧値のうちの最低値、又はそれより低い値に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の充電器。
- 前記制御部は、充電中の電圧が所定の制限電圧以上になると充電を停止するものであり、複数の制限電圧から1つの制限電圧を、前記識別信号に基づいて選択するように設けていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の充電器。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の前記充電器に装着される前記アダプタであって、対応する前記二次電池が接続可能な寸法形状を有する接続部と、対応する前記二次電池の識別情報を有する識別手段とを具備することを特徴とするアダプタ。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の前記充電器と、請求項5に記載の複数種の前記アダプタとから成り、前記充電器に対して複数種の前記アダプタのうち1つを選択的に装着することで、前記アダプタを介して、前記特定種とそれ以外の種類の前記二次電池を共に充電可能としたことを特徴とする充電システム。
