Description
Claims (10)
- 1つ若しくは複数の素電池がその内部に取り付けられている、バッテリパックのためのバッテリカートリッジであって、
前記バッテリカートリッジは容易な積み重ねのために板状の構造に製造され、かつ
前記カートリッジ間の電気的な接続のための連結部材が、前記カートリッジを積み重ねる際に前記連結部材が互いに結合する連結構造として構成されてなり、
前記連結部材が、ソケットタイプの連結部材とプラグタイプの連結部材とを備えてなり、
前記ソケットタイプの連結部材は、対応する前記素電池の電極端子に接続される接続部が、中空部を有する部材本体の一側から突出する構造として構成されてなり、
前記プラグタイプの連結部材は、対応する前記素電池の電極端子に接続される接続部が、前記中空部に連結される突出部を有する部材本体の一側から突出する構造として構成されてなり、
前記カートリッジが、互いに連結される一対の矩形のフレーム部材を有し、
前記連結部材が、その部材本体が前記フレーム部材の間に固定的に取り付けられるとともに前記突出部あるいは前記中空部が外側に露出するように、前記フレーム部材に組み付けられることを特徴とする、バッテリカートリッジ。 - 前記カートリッジは、それらが互いに連結されるときに前記素電池の縁部を固定する前記一対の矩形のフレーム部材を備え、
1つ若しくは複数のプレート形状の素電池が横方向に配列されて前記フレーム部材の間に取り付けられ、かつ、
前記素電池の電極端子を接続するためのバスバーが前記バッテリカートリッジの上側フレーム部材に取り付けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載したバッテリカートリッジ。 - 前記連結部材が、前記カートリッジに一体に形成され、あるいは前記カートリッジに組み付けられていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載したバッテリカートリッジ。
- 前記フレーム部材が、その両側に少なくとも一つの連結用突出部を有し、
一つのカートリッジと他のカートリッジとの間の連結力を高めるために棒状の連結部材を挿通できるような貫通孔が、前記連結用突出部に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載したバッテリカートリッジ。 - 前記素電池がリチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載したバッテリカートリッジ。
- 前記素電池がパウチ形状の電池であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載したバッテリカートリッジ。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載されたバッテリカートリッジを複数備えるバッテリモジュールであって、
バッテリカートリッジの間の機械的な連結および電気的な接続が連結タイプの連結部材を用いて達成されるように互いに積み重ねられてなり、
前記カートリッジに対応する形状を有するカバープレートが、積み重ねられたバッテリカートリッジのうち最上部のものの上に取り付けられ、
前記カートリッジに対応する形状を有するベースプレートが、積み重ねられたバッテリカートリッジの最下部のものの下に取り付けられ、
前記カバープレートおよび前記ベースプレートが、前記連結部材の突出部あるいは中空部に連結することができる連結用小孔あるいは連結用突出部を有するととともに、前記連結用小孔および連結用突出部に電気的に接続される外部入出力電極を有することを特徴とする、バッテリモジュール。 - 前記カートリッジが、各々、その上端部の一側にソケットタイプの連結部材を有し、かつ、その下端部の一側にプラグタイプの連結部材を有することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載したバッテリモジュール。
- 請求項7又は8に記載した1つ若しくは複数のバッテリモジュールを含んでいることを特徴とする、バッテリパック。
- 前記バッテリパックが電気車両あるいはハイブリッド電気車両のための電力源として用いられることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載したバッテリパック。
