Claims (14)
- 流体中の水成分を処理するためのシステムであって、
内外への第1の流体の移動を促進するための入口及び出口を具える第1のチャンバであって、さらに底面と、当該底面から所定の高さで設けられた開口部を有する壁とを具え、これにより前記第1のチャンバ内の乾燥剤が前記開口部と少なくとも同じ高さのレベルに到達した場合に、前記乾燥剤が前記開口部を通って前記第1のチャンバから溢流する、第1のチャンバと;
前記第1のチャンバを通過する前記第1の流体から水を除去するために前記第1のチャンバに導入可能な乾燥剤と;
内外への第2の流体の移動を促進し、ひいては中にある乾燥剤から前記第2の流体内への水の蒸着を促進するための入口及び出口を具える第2のチャンバと;
前記第1及び第2のチャンバの間に流体経路を生成するよう配置された熱交換器であって、これにより前記第1のチャンバから溢流する乾燥剤が前記開口部を通って前記熱交換器に自動流入し前記第2のチャンバに流れ、前記第1のチャンバから前記第2のチャンバに流れる乾燥剤への熱の移動を促進するよう構成された熱交換器と;
前記第2のチャンバから乾燥剤を受け取るように構成され、前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバへの乾燥剤の流動を促進するための開放位置と、前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバへの乾燥剤の流動を阻害するための閉塞位置とを有するバルブと;
前記第2のチャンバ内に少なくとも部分的に配置され、前記第2のチャンバ内の前記乾燥剤のレベルが少なくとも第1の所定レベルに到達する場合に前記バルブを開放し、前記第2のチャンバ内の前記乾燥剤のレベルが第2の所定レベル未満に低下する場合に前記バルブを閉塞するように構成されるレベルセンサと;
前記バルブが開放されている場合に、前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバに前記乾燥剤をポンピングするように構成されるポンプと;
を具えることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載の水を処理するためのシステムにおいて、前記乾燥剤が液体乾燥剤を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載の水を処理するためのシステムにおいて、前記熱交換器がさらに前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバにポンピングされる乾燥剤を受け取るように構成され、これにより前記第2のチャンバからポンピングされる乾燥剤から前記開口を通って前記第1のチャンバから前記第2のチャンバへ流れる乾燥剤に、熱が移動することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項3に記載の水を処理するためのシステムがさらに、前記乾燥剤が前記第1のチャンバに流入する前に、前記乾燥剤から熱を除去すべく外部冷却源に接続された熱交換器を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項4に記載の水を処理するためのシステムにおいて、前記外部冷却源に接続された熱交換器は、前記バルブの上流に配置され、これにより前記乾燥剤が前記バルブを通って流動する前に、前記第2のチャンバからポンピングされた乾燥剤を受け取ることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載の水を処理するためのシステムにおいて、前記レベルセンサがフロートを有するフロートシステムと、前記フロート及び前記開閉位置間のバルブ動作を連携するように構成されるアクチュエータとを具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載の水を処理するためのシステムにおいて、前記バルブが当該バルブを開閉するための電気機械式機構を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 内外への第1の流体の移動を促進するための入口及び出口を具え、さらに壁と底面とを具える第1のチャンバと、前記第1のチャンバを通過する前記第1の流体から水を除去するために前記第1のチャンバに導入可能な液体乾燥剤と、中にある乾燥剤から前記第2の流体内への水の蒸着を促進すべく、内外への第2の流体の移動を促進する入口及び出口を具える第2のチャンバと、前記第1及び第2のチャンバの間に流体経路を生成するよう配置された熱交換器とを具えるシステムを用いて、流体中の水成分を処理するための方法であって、当該方法が、
少なくとも一部の前記第1の流体を前記乾燥剤に曝露するステップを具える処理を用いて、前記第1の流体から水を除去するステップであって、これによって少なくとも一部の前記乾燥剤の水成分を増加させるステップと;
第2の流体内の水分を増加させた少なくとも一部の前記乾燥剤を導入するステップであって、これによって前記乾燥剤から前記第2の流体への水の蒸着を促進し、前記第2の流体の水成分を増加させるステップと;
前記底面から所定の高さで前記第1のチャンバの壁に開口部を設けるステップであって、これにより前記第1のチャンバ内の前記乾燥剤が前記開口部と少なくとも同じ高さのレベルに到達する場合に、乾燥剤が前記第1のチャンバから溢流し前記開口部を通って、前記熱交換器に自動流入し前記第2のチャンバに流れる、ステップと;
前記第2のチャンバ内の前記乾燥剤のレベルが少なくとも第1の所定レベルに到達する場合に、前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバへ乾燥剤を自動移動させるステップと;
前記第2のチャンバ内の前記乾燥剤のレベルが第2の所定レベル未満に低下した場合に、前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバへの前記乾燥剤の移動を自動停止するステップと;
を具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項8に記載の方法において、前記第1の所定レベルが前記第2の所定レベルより大きいことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法において、前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバに乾燥剤を自動移動するステップが、前記第2のチャンバ内の前記乾燥剤のレベルが少なくとも前記第1の所定レベルに到達する場合に、バルブを自動開放するステップを具え、
前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバへの前記乾燥剤の移動を自動停止するステップは、前記第2のチャンバ内の前記乾燥剤のレベルが、第2の所定レベル未満に低下した場合に前記バルブを自動閉塞するステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項8に記載の方法が、前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバへ移動する前記乾燥剤を、当該乾燥剤が前記第1のチャンバに到達する前に冷却するステップを更に具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項11に記載の方法において、前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバに移動する前記乾燥剤を冷却するステップが、前記乾燥剤から前記システム外部の冷却源に熱を伝達するステップを具えることを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の水を処理するためのシステムにおいて、前記開口部が約1乃至3センチメータ(cm)の幅、及び、約1乃至10cmの高さを有していることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項8に記載の方法において、前記第2のチャンバから前記第1のチャンバに乾燥剤を自動移動するステップが、前記第2のチャンバから前記熱交換器の中へ乾燥剤を自動移動するステップを具え、これにより前記第1のチャンバに入る乾燥剤から前記第2のチャンバに入る乾燥剤へ熱が移動することを特徴とする方法。
