Description
本発明は、酸化鉄、アルカリ金属またはこの化合物、および銀またはこの化合物を含む脱水素化触媒を提供する。
R1R2C=CH2
式中の、R1およびR2は、独立にアルキル基、アルケニル基もしくはフェニル基または水素原子を表す。
R1R2HC−CH3
式中の、R1およびR2は、独立にアルキル基、アルケニル基もしくはフェニル基または水素原子を表す。
0.08重量%のClを含有し、3.2m2/gの表面積を有する酸化鉄(Fe2O3)(塩化鉄の熱分解によって製造された)900gおよび黄酸化鉄(FeOOH)100gを十分な炭酸カリウム、炭酸セリウム(Ce52重量%を含有する水和されたCe2(CO3)3)、三酸化モリブデン、および炭酸カルシウムと合わせて酸化鉄1モル当たり18mmolのMoおよび表1に示されている他の成分を有する触媒を得ることによって1つの触媒を調製した。水(乾燥混合物の重量に対して約10重量%)を加えてペーストを形成させ、このペーストを押出成型して直径3mmの円筒を形成し、次いでこれを長さ6mmに切断した。ペレットを空気中170℃で15分間乾燥し、続いて空気中約888℃で1時間か焼した。か焼後の触媒の組成を、Fe2O3として計算される酸化鉄1モル当たりのミリモルとして表1に示す。
本発明によって触媒を調製した。実施例1において記載した成分を使用した。実施例の一部は表1の触媒組成に示す通りこれらの成分の異なる量を使用した。加えて、一部の触媒は異なる温度においてか焼したので、か焼温度を表1に示す。実施例2−17の触媒は、酸化銀の形態で異なる量で加えられた銀を含有していた。触媒は実施例1の触媒と同じ条件下で試験し、触媒の性能を表1に示す。
実施例18−19は、使用された酸化鉄が実施例1−17において使用されたものと同じではない場合に観察される触媒性能を実証している。実施例18において、触媒は沈殿された黄酸化鉄の熱処理によって作製された赤酸化鉄を使用して調製された。赤酸化鉄の表面積は5.1m2/gであり、赤酸化鉄は10ppm未満の塩化物を含有していた。黄酸化鉄は硫酸鉄の酸化から作製された。次の成分:上記の酸化鉄1000g、十分な炭酸カリウム、炭酸セリウム(52重量%のCeを含有している水和されたCe2(CO3)3)、三酸化モリブデンおよび炭酸カルシウムを合わせて表2に示す組成を得た。水(乾燥混合物の重量に対して約10重量%)を加えてペーストを形成させ、このペーストを押出成型して直径3mmの円筒を形成し、次いでこれを長さ6mmに切断した。ペレットを空気中170℃で15分間乾燥し、続いて空気中の約875℃において1時間か焼した。実施例19の触媒は、表2に示した組成となるように酸化銀を加えた以外は実施例18と同様に調製した。実施例18および19の触媒の触媒性能は、温度を当初600℃に保った以外は実施例1−17の場合と同じ方法を使用して試験した。結果を表2に示す。
実施例20−21は、熱分解によって作製された再生酸化鉄を実施例1−17の通りに、ただし触媒中におけるこれの使用の前に上記の通りに再構成して、使用したときに観察される触媒性能を実証する。実施例20において、再生酸化鉄1000gを十分な三酸化モリブデンと共に995℃においてか焼して、Fe2O3として計算される酸化鉄1モル当たりモリブデン19.5ミリモルを含む酸化鉄組成物を再構成することによって混合物を調製した。再構成された酸化鉄組成物を十分な炭酸カリウム、炭酸セリウム(52重量%のCeを含有する水和されたCe2(CO3)3として)および炭酸カルシウムと合わせて、表2に示す組成物を得た。水(乾燥混合物の重量に対して約5重量%)を加えてペーストを形成させ、このペーストを押出成型して直径3mmの円筒を形成し、次いでこれを長さ6mmに切断した。ペレットを空気中170℃において15分間乾燥し、続いて空気中の約775℃において1時間か焼した。か焼後の触媒の組成は表2に示す。実施例21の触媒は、表2に示した組成となるように酸化銀を炭酸カリウム、炭酸セリウムおよび炭酸カルシウム加えた以外は実施例20と同様に調製した。実施例20および21の触媒は、温度を当初600℃に保った以外は実施例1−17の場合と同じ方法を使用して試験した。結果を表2に示す。
触媒を、実施例1−17の方法によって調製した。成分は異なる量で使用し、か焼後の触媒組成を表3に示す。実施例22−27の触媒を上記の実施例と同じ方法によって試験した。生成物中のα−メチルスチレン(AMS)の量を測定し、脱水素化反応器からの凝縮させた生成物流れの重量に対する重量ppmとして表3に示す。α−メチルスチレンのレベルをT70温度におけるガスクロマトグラフによって試験した。実施例22は、同じ組成を有する3つの触媒についての結果の平均を表している。
Claims (8)
- 酸化鉄、アルカリ金属またはこの化合物、モリブデンまたはこの化合物および銀またはこの化合物を含み、銀またはこの化合物はFe2O3として計算される酸化鉄の1モル当たり0.01ミリモルから500ミリモルの銀の量で存在する、脱水素化触媒。
- 銀またはこの化合物が、Fe2O3として計算される酸化鉄の1モル当たり0.25から500ミリモルの銀の量で存在する、請求項1に記載の触媒。
- 銀またはこの化合物が、Fe2O3として計算される酸化鉄の1モル当たり1から300ミリモルの銀の量で存在する、請求項1から2のいずれかに記載の触媒。
- 銀またはこの化合物が、Fe2O3として計算される酸化鉄の1モル当たり10から100ミリモルの銀の量で存在する、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の触媒。
- 触媒が、セリウムまたはこの化合物をさらに含む、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の触媒。
- 6族金属またはこの化合物をさらに含む、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の触媒。
- 酸化鉄が、ハロゲン化鉄の熱分解によって形成された再生酸化鉄を含む、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の触媒。
- 酸化鉄が、再構成剤の存在下に熱処理によって再構成される、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の触媒。
