Claims (3)
- 膜電極複合体(10)の高分子電解質膜(11)を、その厚さ方向一側に配置されたセパレータ(20A)に一体的に設けたゴム状弾性材料からなる第一のガスケット(30)と、厚さ方向他側に配置されたセパレータ(20B)に一体的に設けたゴム状弾性材料からなる第二のガスケット(40)で挟み込む密封構造において、前記第一のガスケット(30)は、前記高分子電解質膜(11)と密接されるシール突条(31)を有し、前記第二のガスケット(40)は、前記高分子電解質膜(11)と密接される平坦なシール面(41)を有し、肉厚(t)を0.02〜0.1mmとしたことを特徴とする燃料電池の密封構造。
- 第二のガスケット(40)が、セパレータ(20B)の表面に、ゴム溶液又は液状ゴムを、ドクターブレード法、スタンプ法、スクリーン印刷法、及びインクジェット塗布法から選択された方法により塗布して硬化させたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池の密封構造。
- 第二のガスケット(40)が、セパレータ(20B)に形成されたガスケット装着溝(24)に設けられ、この第二のガスケット(40)のうち、第一のガスケット(30)のシール突条(31)と向かい合う部分から幅方向へずれた位置に、前記ガスケット装着溝(24)の底面に形成された深溝(25)による厚肉部(43)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池の密封構造。
