Description
という利点を有するが、積層型電気化学セルは、積層型電気化学セルの製造方法が複雑且つ困難であり、及び、積層型電気化学セルに外部の衝撃が与えられた場合、積層型電気化学セルの電極に圧力が加わり、結果として積層型電気化学セル内に短絡が発生するという欠点を有する。
カソード活性材料として95重量パーセントのLiCoO2、2.5重量パーセントのSuper−P(伝導剤)、及び2.5重量パーセントのPVdf(カップリング剤)を、溶媒としてのN−メチル−2−ピロリドン(NMP)に加えることにより、カソード混合スラリーが調製された。アノード活性材料として95重量パーセントの人工黒鉛、2.5重量パーセントのSuper−P(伝導剤)、及び2.5重量パーセントのPVdf(カップリング剤)を、溶媒としてのNMPに加えることにより、アノード混合スラリーが調製された。カソード混合スラリー及びアノード混合スラリーが、それぞれアルミニウムホイル及び銅ホイル上にコーティングされた。その後、アルミニウムホイル及び銅ホイルが、乾燥され及び加圧された。このようにして、カソード及びアノードが製造された。
セパレータが、バイセルの下端部において分離フィルムに熱溶接されたことを除き、実施例1と同じ方法で、電池が完成された。
バイセルの両側が熱溶接されないことを除き、実施例1と同じ方法で、電池が完成された。
実施例及び比較例によって製造された電池が、4.2Vに充電され、次に、1mの高さから電池を落下させた。落下実験が、連続して50回実行された。落下実験の結果が、以下の表1に示される。

Claims (5)
- ユニットセルとして複数のフルセル又はバイセルが、長いシート形状に形成された分離フィルムによって収容され、前記ユニットセルのセパレータが、熱溶接によって前記分離フィルムに固定された構造に構成され、
前記熱溶接が、それぞれのユニットセルの両側において実施される、多層型電気化学セル。 - 前記分離フィルムが、前記ユニットセルを覆うために十分な単位長さを有し、前記分離フィルムが、単位長さ毎に内側に曲げられ、これによって、前記分離フィルムが、前記中央ユニットセルから、前記最外部ユニットセルまで前記ユニットセルを連続して覆う構造に、前記電気化学セルが構成された、請求項1に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記分離フィルムが、前記ユニットセルを覆うために十分な単位長さを有し、前記分離フィルムが、単位長さ毎に外側に曲げられ、これによって、前記分離フィルムが、前記最下部ユニットセルから、前記最上部ユニットセルまでジグザグ状に前記ユニットセルを連続して覆い、前記分離フィルムの残りが、前記積層されたセルの外部周囲を覆う構造に、前記電気化学セルが構成された、請求項1に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記熱溶接が、70から140℃の温度において実施される請求項1に記載の電気化学セル。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の前記電気化学セルを含むリチウム二次電池。
