Claims (13)
- テンプレート炭素繊維を形成する方法であって、
炭素前駆物質を繊維状テンプレートと混合する段階であって、該繊維状テンプレートの断面形状が該テンプレートの表面に対して開く長手方向チャネルを形成し、前記炭素前駆物質が前記長手方向チャネル内に充填されるようにする段階と、
前記混合物を硬化させて、安定形状を有する前駆物質複合材を形成する段階と、
前記前駆物質複合材を炭化させる段階と、
前記繊維状テンプレートを分解して、該繊維状テンプレートの空隙によって成形された炭素繊維を産生する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記繊維状テンプレートが、3分岐形状、4分岐形状、V字形状、I字形状、又は、C字形状を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記繊維状テンプレートが、ポリプロピレンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記炭化させる段階が、不活性媒体内、真空下又はそれらの組合せで実施される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記炭化させる段階と前記分解させる段階とが、同時に起こる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 成形された前記炭素繊維が、テンプレート派生形状を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記炭素前駆物質が、フェノール樹脂である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記炭素繊維が、CO2又は水蒸気の存在下で加熱することによって活性化される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記活性化が、800℃〜950℃の範囲内の温度に30分間ある時に起こる、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記テンプレートの外側面が、前記前駆物質が主として前記テンプレートの断面内部に形成された空隙内にのみ残るように清掃化される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記混合する段階の間に、前記前駆物質の粘度を制御するために溶剤が使用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- テンプレート炭素繊維を形成する方法であって、
ポリプロピレンを含む繊維状テンプレートをフェノール樹脂を含む炭素前駆物質と混合する段階であって、該繊維状テンプレートの断面形状が該テンプレートの表面に対して開く長手方向チャネルを形成し、前記炭素前駆物質が前記長手方向チャネル内に充填されるようにする段階と、
前記テンプレートの周辺部を清掃化する段階と、
前記混合物を120〜160℃の温度で15〜60分間硬化させて安定形状を有する前駆物質複合材を形成する段階と、
前記前駆物質複合材を600℃〜950℃の範囲内の温度で炭化させる段階と、
前記繊維状テンプレートを分解して、該繊維状テンプレートの空隙によって成形された炭素繊維を産生する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - CO2又は水蒸気の存在下で800℃〜950℃の範囲内の温度で30分間前記炭素繊維を加熱することによって、該炭素繊維を活性化させる段階をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
