Description
Claims (16)
- コンテンツデータに先行するタグ内に埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータであって、フレーム内に埋め込まれたタイムスタンプ情報を有する触覚イベントデータを有する媒体ファイルを受け取り、
前記触覚イベントデータと前記コンテンツデータとが共有するタイムスタンプを使用して、前記埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータを前記媒体ファイル内の前記コンテンツデータと同期させ、
再生機器内のアクチュエータを介して触覚効果を出力する装置を用いる方法であって、
前記装置が出力する触覚効果は、
前記コンテンツデータの対応する媒体イベントと同期が取られており、
前記媒体イベント及び前記触覚イベントは、
概ね同じタイムスタンプにおいて発生し、
前記タグは、
非公開フレームを有し、
前記非公開フレームは、
終端ユニットが前記非公開フレームの所有者を識別するための情報を含み、
前記触覚イベントデータは、
前記非公開フレーム内に埋め込まれていること、
を特徴とする方法。 - 前記コンテンツデータは、
聴覚データを含むこと、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記コンテンツデータは、
ビデオデータを含むこと、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記フレーム内の前記埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータは、
開始時刻、マグニチュード、周波数及び持続時間を含むこと、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記媒体ファイルは、
前記再生機器において受け取られる前に格納されていること、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記媒体ファイルは、
情報源からストリーミングされ、前記再生機器によって受け取られること、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記媒体ファイルに関連付けられたマスタ時刻コードに応じて、前記媒体ファイルから前記埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータを抽出すること、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - コンテンツデータに先行するフレーム内に埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータであって、前記フレーム内に埋め込まれたタイムスタンプ情報を有する触覚イベントデータを有する媒体ファイルを受け取る手段と、
マスタ時刻コードを使用して、前記埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータを前記媒体ファイル内の前記コンテンツデータと同期させる手段と、
アクチュエータを介して、前記触覚イベントデータの前記タイムスタンプに関連付けられた触覚効果を出力する手段と、を有し、
前記フレームは、
非公開フレームを有し、
前記非公開フレームは、
終端ユニットが前記非公開フレームの所有者を識別するための情報を含み、
前記触覚イベントデータは、
前記非公開フレーム内に埋め込まれていること、
を特徴とする装置。 - 前記コンテンツデータは、
聴覚データを含むこと、
を特徴とする請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記コンテンツデータは、
ビデオデータを含むこと、
を特徴とする請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記媒体ファイルは、
MP3型式であること、
を特徴とする請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記フレーム内の前記埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータは、
開始時刻、マグニチュード、周波数及び持続時間を含むこと、
を特徴とする請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記媒体ファイルは、
再生機器において受け取られる前に格納されていること、
を特徴とする請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記媒体ファイルは、
情報源からストリーミングされ、再生機器によって受け取られること、
を特徴とする請求項8に記載の装置。 - 前記媒体ファイルに関連付けられたマスタ時刻コードに応じて、前記媒体ファイルから前記埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータを抽出する手段を有すること、
を特徴とする請求項8に記載の装置。 - 機器に読み取られる1又は複数の有形媒体内に符号化されたプログラムであって、
前記プログラムは前記機器に読み取られると、
コンテンツデータに先行するタグ内に埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータであって、フレーム内に埋め込まれたタイムスタンプ情報を有する触覚イベントデータを有する媒体ファイルを受け取り、
前記触覚イベントデータと前記コンテンツデータとが共有するタイムスタンプを使用して、前記埋め込まれた触覚イベントデータを前記媒体ファイル内の前記コンテンツデータと同期させ、
再生機器内のアクチュエータを介して触覚効果を出力する処理を前記機器に実行させ、
前記出力される触覚効果は、
前記コンテンツデータの対応する媒体イベントと同期が取られており、
前記媒体イベント及び前記触覚イベントは、
概ね同じタイムスタンプにおいて発生し、
前記タグは、
非公開フレームを有し、
前記非公開フレームは、
終端ユニットが前記非公開フレームの所有者を識別するための情報を含み、
前記触覚イベントデータは、
前記非公開フレーム内に埋め込まれていること、
を特徴とするプログラム。
