Description
本特許出願は、2001年11月1日に出願された仮出願第60/335,492号(“METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMPROVED DIM AND BURST MESSAGING”)に対して優先権を主張しており、仮出願第60/335,492号は、本発明の譲受人に譲渡され、ここでは、参考文献としてとくに取り上げている。
本発明は、概ね、無線通信、とくに、ディジタルメッセージ内のより高い優先度の情報の向上した通信に関する。
決定ブロック520において、フレームが正しく復号されるときは、ブロック525へ進み、フレームを使用する。一次、二次、および/またはシグナリングデータが適切な宛先に送られる。トラヒックは、例えば、シグナリングトラヒックが受信されたときは、呼の維持に使用するためのより高い層へ送られ、アプリケーションデータ(一次または二次トラヒック)が受信されたときは、アプリケーション層へ送られる。ヘッダは、何れのフォーマットが使用されるかを示す。フレームフォーマットデータベース350を、ヘッダと関連付けて使用して、何れのタイプのトラヒックか、およびそれらのタイプの何ビットがフレーム内にあるかを判断することができる。図4を参照して既に記載したように、ヘッダは、フレームタイプが1つ以上の内符号を含むことも示す。ブロック525において外符号は適切に復号されるので、内符号データも正しく受信されている可能性が非常に高い。例示的な実施形態では、外符号が正しく復号されるときは、内符号は検査されない。別の実施形態では、遠隔局が偽の訂正復号をした可能性があるときは、内符号も検査するように進む(詳細は示されていない)。ブロック560へ進み、必要とされる再送要求を処理する。この場合は、再送は必要ないが、次のプロトコルに依存して、他のステップを採用することが必要である。例えば、肯定応答(ACK)を伝送してもよい。ブロック560において使用できる例示的な再送プロトコルは、図6ないし8に関連して、別途詳しく記載する。

Claims (1)
- 全体のデータフレームにおける誤り検出のための外符号であって、該全体のデータフレームは該データフレームの一部分について別個に計算された誤り検出のための第1の内符号を含み、該一部分は該データフレームの高優先度のシグナリングセグメントを含む、外符号と、
該データフレームのヘッダの一部分について別個に計算された誤り検出のための第2の内符号と、
を計算するための符号器を含み、
該第1の内符号は、該データフレームを受信する受信装置において、復号された該外符号が該データフレームは少なくとも1つの誤りを含むことを示すときに検査され、該第1の内符号の検査結果に基づき再送要求が必要か否かが決定される、装置。
