Description

マイクロ波エネルギーを供給するような形態の供給ライン;
その供給ラインの遠位端に連結されるらせん状マイクロ波アンテナであって、マイクロ波エルネギーを伝達するような形態のらせん状マイクロ波アンテナ;および

ここで、図1〜2を参照して、本開示の実施形態によるマイクロ波アンテナアセンブリは、10として示される。このマイクロ波アンテナアンブリ10は、アンテナ部分12およびアンテナ部分12に作動可能に接続され、そしてそれを支持する供給ライン部分14を含む。アンテナ部分12は、らせん状アンテナ部材16、アンテナ部材16の外部を取り囲むアンテナ絶縁18、および鋭い遠位先端部20を含む。供給ライン部分14は、アンテナ部材16に電気的に接続される内側コンダクター24、および内側コンダクター24の少なくとも一部分を重層し、そして供給ライン25によってそれから少なくとも部分的に分離される外側コンダクター26を含む、同軸供給ライン22を含む。
本開示のマイクロ波アンテナアセンブリは、らせん状マイクロ波アンテナを含み、組織中に損傷を生成する。図3に示されるように、供給ライン122は、絶縁125によって分離された外側コンダクター126および内側コンダクター124を含む。らせん状アンテナ部材116は、供給ライン122から遠位方向に延び、そして複数の曲がり目、ループまたは巻きを含むらせん状または渦巻き状幾何学的形態を形成し、各曲がり目、ループまたは巻きは、ピッチ「S」、直径「D」、および長さ「L」だけ間隔を置かれる。電気的接触にある2つのループ間のピッチ「S」は、ゼロにほぼ等しい。アンテナ部材116は、図3に示されるように、外側コンダクター126を超えて遠位方向に延びる内側コンダクター124の一部分であり得る。あるいは、らせん状アンテナ部材116は、本明細書で以下に示されるように、内側コンダクター124、外側コンダクター126またはその両方を接続する別個の細長い部材であり得る。
前述のマイクロ波アンテナアセンブリのいずれも、このらせん状アンテナ部材のらせん内側に剛直性部材を付加することによって強化され得る。剛直性部材は、セラミック、ハードプラスチックまたはその他の適切な剛直性誘電性材料および絶縁された金属から作製され得る。これら剛直性部材は、上記らせん状アンテナ部材から供給ライン中に延び得、全体のマイクロ波アンテナアセンブリに、上記供給ラインとらせん状アンテナ部材との間の遷移点に剛直性を与える。
図6Aおよび6Bは、図4Bのらせん状アンテナ部材101への剛直性部材318の付加を示す。図6に示されるように、らせん状アンテナ部材316aの近位部分「A」内で、内側コンダクター324は、供給ライン322の中心からアンテナ部分312aのらせん状部分の近位端まで遷移する。

Claims (18)
- マイクロ波アンテナアセンブリであって、
近位端および遠位端およびそれらの間に規定される内部管腔を有する細長い冷却ジャケットと、
該細長い冷却ジャケットの少なくとも一部分内に配置され、かつ、内側コンダクターおよび外側コンダクターを有するらせん状マイクロ波アンテナ部材と
