用語「アルカリ腐食」は、アルカリ性ガスの凝縮に起因する腐食を意味する。言及されてよい例としては、ガス中の硫黄含量が低いとき、及び/又は条件が還元のとき、パッキングの下方の部分にNaOH又はKOH等の化学種の凝縮の現象を生じさせる、ソーダカリガラスの溶解で発生するガスに起因する腐食が挙げられる。硫黄の不足又は還元条件は、Na2SO4又はK2SO4等の化学種の形成を妨げる。このように耐火物製品の液相腐食の現象が観察される。

Claims (31)
- 酸化物に基づく重量による割合として、重量にして以下の平均化学組成を有する、1kg超荷重の溶融鋳造耐火物製品であって、
全細孔率が10%超であり、前記製品が、出発チャージを溶解して溶融材料を得、前記溶融材料を鋳込み、及び冷却により固化する段階を有するプロセスにより得られる、溶融鋳造耐火物製品。

・他の化学種:<1% - 少なくとも70.5%のアルミナ(A12O3)を含む、請求項1に記載の製品。

- 管状細孔の直径が1mmから5mmの範囲である、請求項12又は13に記載の製品。
- 管状細孔の数にして80%超が2mm未満の直径を有する、請求項14に記載の製品。
- 管状細孔が固化先端に垂直な方向に選択的配向を有する、請求項12から15の何れか一項に記載の製品。
- 97重量%を越えるスピネル(A12O3−MgO)を含む、請求項1から16の何れか一項に記載の製品。
- 前記スピネルが固化先端に実質的に垂直な方向に選択的配向を有するスピネルの柱状結晶の形態である、請求項17に記載の製品。
- スピネル結晶サイズが0.1mm超15mm未満である、請求項17又は18に記載の製品。
- スピネル結晶のサイズが前記製品外部表面からの距離に応じて増加する、請求項17から19の何れか一項に記載の製品。
- 高さ(h)が100mmから600mmの範囲にあり、及び/又は、長さ(l)が10mmから600mmの範囲にあり、及び/又は、厚さ(e)が15mmから60mmの範囲にある複数のブランチを含む、請求項1から20の何れか一項に記載の製品。
- 少なくとも一つのブランチの厚さに対する高さの比h/eが5より大きく、及び/又は少なくとも一つのブランチの厚さに対する長さの比l/eが2より大きい、請求項21に記載の製品。
- 細孔が製品のブランチ内で均一に分散される、請求項21又は22に記載の製品。
- 十字形部品の形態である、請求項1から23の何れか一項に記載の製品。
- 熱いガス又は蒸気との界面に配置された前記製品の表面の少なくとも一部が障害物を示す、請求項1から24の何れか一項に記載の製品。
- 溶融材料を型内に流し込む段階を含む方法を用いて作製された、請求項1から25の何れか一項に記載の製品。
- 型が複数の部品からなる型である、請求項26に記載の製品。
- 酸化物に基づく重量による割合として、
・26%<MgO<30%
・70%<A12O3<74%
である、請求項1から27の何れか一項に記載の製品。 - 炉の熱交換器における請求項1から28の何れか一項に記載の製品の使用。
- 耐火物製品が前記熱交換器のパッキングの下方部分のパッキングエレメントとして使用される、請求項29に記載の使用。
- 前記熱交換器が還元条件下で運転するソーダ石灰ガラス炉に関連する、請求項29又は30に記載の使用。
