Description
本実施の形態では、液滴吐出法を用いて有機トランジスタを作製する工程の一例について図面を用いて説明する。なお、液滴吐出法とは、調製された組成物を、電気信号に応じてノズルから噴出して微量な液滴を作り、所定の位置に付着させる方法であり、インクジェット法とも呼ばれる。
本実施の形態において、液滴吐出法を用いてエレクトロルミネセンス(EL:Electro Luminescence)を利用した発光素子を作製する方法の一例について図面を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態では、基板上に濡れ性の異なる領域を形成し、濡れ性の高い領域に凸状の導電層を形成する工程について図面を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態において、実施の形態1で示した有機トランジスタを有する表示装置の作製工程について説明する。
上記実施の形態で示される半導体装置を有する電子機器として、テレビジョン装置(単にテレビ、又はテレビジョン受信機ともよぶ)、デジタルカメラ、デジタルビデオカメラ等のカメラ、携帯電話装置(単に携帯電話機、携帯電話ともよぶ)、PDA等の携帯情報端末、携帯型ゲーム機、コンピュータ用のモニター、コンピュータ、カーオーディオ等の音響再生装置、家庭用ゲーム機等の記録媒体を備えた画像再生装置等が挙げられる。その具体例について、図9を参照して説明する。

Claims (2)
- 基板上にゲート電極を形成し、
前記ゲート電極上に絶縁層を形成し、
前記絶縁層上に光触媒導電層を形成し、
前記光触媒導電層上に光触媒反応層を形成し、
前記光触媒反応層の表面に紫外光を照射して、前記光触媒導電層表面に導電性を有し、かつ前記光触媒反応層に比べて濡れ性の高い領域を形成し、
前記濡れ性の高い領域に液状の材料を塗布してマスク層を形成し、
前記マスク層を用いて前記光触媒導電層をエッチングすることにより、第1の導電層及び第2の導電層を形成し、
前記第1の導電層及び前記第2の導電層の少なくとも一部を覆うように半導体層を形成することを特徴とする半導体装置の作製方法。 - 基板上にゲート電極を形成し、
前記ゲート電極上に絶縁層を形成し、
前記絶縁層上に光触媒導電層を形成し、
前記光触媒導電層上に光触媒反応層を形成し、
前記光触媒反応層の表面に紫外光を照射して、前記光触媒導電層表面に導電性を有し、かつ前記光触媒反応層に比べて濡れ性の高い領域を形成し、
前記濡れ性の高い領域に液状のパターン材料を吐出してマスク層を形成し、
前記マスク層を用いて前記光触媒導電層をエッチングすることにより、第1の導電層及び第2の導電層を形成し、
前記第1の導電層及び前記第2の導電層の少なくとも一部を覆うように有機半導体層を形成することを特徴とする半導体装置の作製方法。
