Description
1.パイプ3の融着部の表面を切削する。
2.パイプ3の融着部の表面を清掃する。
3.EF継手2の内面を清掃する。
4.EF継手2にパイプ3を挿入する。
5.EF継手2とパイプ3をクランプ(固定冶具)(図示せず)で固定する。
6.本発明コネクター(以下、「コネクター」という)4に被せておいた感電防止用のゴムカバー(図示せず)を取り外す。
7.EF継手2のターミナル5と、電源ケーブル6のコネクター4とを接続する。接続作業工程を、下記(1)〜(5)に詳細に示す。
(1) 複数社ある中から選んだEF継手のターミナル形状に合わせてコネクターの電極部を選択する。例えば、本実施例においては、A社のEF継手を用いるものとし、このA社のEF継手に適合する第1電極を選択する。
(2) 選択を容易にするために、コネクターの電極部(コネクター差込部)は色分けされている。これにより、電極を間違えることはない。
(3) 選択したコネクターの第1電極のコネクター差込部を、A社のEF継手のターミナルの被差込部に差し込む。これにより、第1電極内に、A社のEF継手のターミナルのおす状の電極が差し込まれ、A社のEF継手に電源ケーブルが接続される。本発明電気融着継手用通電制御装置は、コネクターの第1電極と第2電極とが、コネクター本体を挟んだ両側に対称に配置されているので、図9に示すようにEF継手の上部に位置しているターミナルに対して、選択した第1電極をコネクターの下部に位置させて作業者がコネクターを把持すれば、容易に第1電極を下方のEF継手のターミナルに差し込むことができる。
(4) 第1電極を下方のEF継手のターミナルに差し込んだとき、第1電極内の電極ガード棒が、A社のEF継手のターミナルのおす状の電極に押されて、第1電極とは反対側の第2電極内に押し出され、第2電極内が塞がれて第2電極の内表面が露出しない状態となる。かくして、人などが直接電極に触れて感電すること等が防止される。更に、電極ガード棒が非接続側の電極の空間を塞ぐことにより、泥等の異物が入りにくくなり、コネクターとターミナルとの電極間の接触抵抗の増大が防止され、及び、泥等に含まれる水分による電極表面の錆びが防止される。
(5) 本発明の電気融着継手用通電制御装置は、差込み間違い(誤差込み)防止機構を備えているので、規格が合わないコネクターとEF継手のターミナルとが誤って接続されることはない。
8.バーコードリーダー15でバーコードラベル16を読み込む。
9.通電制御装置1の融着開始ボタンを押す。
10.融着(通電)。
11.コネクター4を継手ターミナル5から取り外す。
12.コネクター4にゴムカバーを取り付ける。
13.冷却状態により保持する。
14.次の、EF継手融着工程へ。

Claims (3)
- 電気融着継手と樹脂管とを接合する際に用いる電気融着継手用通電制御装置であって、
コネクターと、該コネクターの本体を挟んだ当該本体の両側に対称に配置された、第1電極の周囲に設けられた第1コネクター差込部および第2電極の周囲に設けられた第2コネクター差込部とを備えており、
前記第1電極および前記第2電極は、それぞれ、電気融着継手が備える第1ターミナル被差込部内に設けられた第1ターミナル電極および第2ターミナル被差込部内に設けられた第2ターミナル電極と嵌合可能であり、
前記第1コネクター差込部および前記第2コネクター差込部は、それぞれ、前記第1ターミナル被差込部および前記第2ターミナル被差込部に挿入可能であり、
前記第1コネクター差込部は、前記第2ターミナル被差込部には挿入不能であり、
前記第2電極は、前記第1ターミナル電極と嵌合不能であり、
これにより前記第1電極および前記第2電極が、それぞれ、前記第1ターミナル電極および前記第2ターミナル電極とのみ接続可能である、
ことを特徴とする電気融着継手用通電制御装置。 - 前記第2ターミナル被差込部は、凹状の被差込部であり、その内径は、前記第1コネクター差込部の外径よりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電気融着継手用通電制御装置。
- 前記第2電極および前記第1ターミナル電極は、それぞれ、めす状電極およびおす状電極であり、前記第2電極の内径は、前記第1ターミナル電極の外径よりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の電気融着継手用通電制御装置。
