印刷紙面における1Q(級)細線文字の再現性が失われるまで印刷を行い、以下の評価基準を用いて判定した。この結果を表1に示す。
○:3,000枚以上
△:2,000〜3,000枚未満
×:2,000枚未満
通常印刷時の版−ブランケット圧を約2倍まで上げて印刷を行い、500枚目の印刷紙面の頭端、及び尻端の部分汚れを観察し、以下の評価基準を用いて判定した。この結果を表1に示す。
○:局所的な部分汚れ、不均一な汚れが一切見られない。
△:局所的な部分汚れ、不均一な汚れが僅かに見られる。
×:局所的な部分汚れ、不均一な汚れが明確に見られる。
HEIDON製Scratching Intensity TESTER:HEIDON−18型を用いて、得られた感熱型平版印刷版を23℃の水に60秒間浸漬した後、サファイア針0.2mm、引っ掻き速度10mm/secの条件で評価し、印刷版の表面に傷が入った加重値〔g〕にて判定を行った。この結果を表1に示す。
実施例1の下塗り層塗工液に用いる二酸化チタンTISR1をタイペークR−580(石原産業(株)製、ルチル型、アルミナ処理)に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、実施例2の感熱型平版印刷版を得た。なお、この時の下塗り層の平均乾燥膜厚は1.5μmであり、二酸化チタンの平均粒子径は0.9μmであった。得られた感熱型平版印刷版を実施例1と同様にして評価した。この結果を表1に示す。
実施例2の下塗り層塗工液の二酸化チタン(タイペークR−580)の添加量を4部から3部に、更にゼラチン量を0.8部から0.6部に変更した以外は実施例2と同様にして、実施例3の感熱型平版印刷版を得た。なお、この時の下塗り層の平均乾燥膜厚は1.2μmであり、二酸化チタンの平均粒子径は0.9μmであった。得られた感熱型平版印刷版を実施例1と同様にして評価した。この結果を表1に示す。
実施例2の下塗り層塗工液の二酸化チタン(タイペークR−580)の添加量を4部から2部に、更にゼラチン量を0.8部から0.4部に変更した以外は、実施例2と同様にして、比較例1の感熱型平版印刷版を得た。なお、この時の下塗り層の平均乾燥膜厚は0.8μmであり、二酸化チタンの平均粒子径は0.9μmであった。得られた感熱型平版印刷版を実施例1と同様にして評価した。この結果を表1に示す。
実施例2の下塗り層塗工液から二酸化チタン(タイペークR−580)を除き、更に、ゼラチン量を0.8部から1.5部にした以外は、実施例2と同様にして、比較例2の感熱型平版印刷版を得た。なお、この時の下塗り層の平均乾燥膜厚は1.5μmであった。得られた感熱型平版印刷版を実施例1と同様にして評価した。この結果を表1に示す。
実施例1の下塗り層塗工液に用いる二酸化チタンを除き、代わりにシリコーン樹脂微粒子としてトスパール103(東芝シリコーン(株)製、平均粒子径0.3μm、表面処理なし)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、比較例3の感熱型平版印刷版を得た。なお、この時の下塗り層の平均乾燥膜厚は2.5μmであった。得られた感熱型平版印刷版を実施例1と同様にして評価した。この結果を表1に示す。
実施例1の下塗り塗工液に用いる二酸化チタンを除き、代わりに微粒子シリカ粉末としてサイリシア350(富士シリシア化学(株)製)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、比較例4の感熱型平版印刷版を得た。なお、この時の下塗り層の平均乾燥膜厚は4.0μmであり、微粒子シリカの平均粒子径は1.8μmであった。得られた感熱型平版印刷版を実施例1と同様にして評価した。この結果を表1に示す。
実施例1の下塗り塗工液に用いる二酸化チタンを除き、代わりに、酸化亜鉛微粒子(堺化学(株)製、アルミナ処理)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、比較例5の感熱型平版印刷版を得た。なお、この時の下塗り層の平均乾燥膜厚は1.5μmであり、酸化亜鉛微粒子の平均粒子径は0.3μmであった。得られた感熱型平版印刷版を実施例1と同様にして評価した。この結果を表1に示す。
Claims (1)
- 支持体上に少なくとも熱可塑性樹脂、熱溶融性物質、および水溶性高分子化合物を含有する画像形成層を最表層に有し、該画像形成層の加熱部分を画像部、非加熱部分を非画像部として利用する感熱型平版印刷版であって、該画像形成層と支持体の間に、二酸化チタン、バインダー樹脂、および架橋剤を含有する下塗り層を設け、該二酸化チタンの平均粒子径が該下塗り層の平均乾燥膜厚よりも小さいことを特徴とする感熱型平版印刷版。
