Description
Pd系については、合金の白色化とPd特有の黒ずんだ色調に問題があり、ほとんどがRhめっきを施して使用しているが、めっきが剥げた場合に合金本来の黒ずんだ色調が露出するために審美性上の問題がある。
本発明は、上記の問題を解決するもので、結晶の微細化により、装飾用として適した硬さを確保することを目的とする。
Pdを添加する目的は、PtよりもAuの金色を脱色する効果があるからであるが、AuにPdのみの添加では、明度の値が大きくなり、暗さが増すことになる。0.5%以下では添加の効果が得られず、15%を超えると暗すぎてしまうからである。
Cuを添加する目的は、鋳造性の向上と硬さに対する効果があるからであり、5.0%を超える添加量では、色差、彩度において黄色方向に働くことになり、合金の白色化を妨げることになる。また、0.1%以下の添加量では、硬さに対する効果が得られないからである。
色差は、標準試料との色の差であり、明度は明るさの度合いを示し、+は明るく、−は暗くなることを示す。また、彩度a*の値が+は赤方向、−は緑方向、b*の+は黄方向、−は青方向を示し、Pd、Cuの添加量が増すと暗さが増し、Ag、Ptの添加量が増すと明るさが増す。
Claims (1)
- 質量比で、Pt0.5〜20%、Pd0.5〜15%、Ag0.5〜10%、Cu0.1〜0.5%、Ir0.1〜3.0%、残りをAuとしたことを特徴とする装飾用K18ホワイトゴールド合金。
