例えば、乳児ケア用の又は個人的衛生用の湿性生地(moist cloth)、おむつ、女性用衛生製品などのような使い捨ての物品又は単用物品(single-use article)は概して、柔らかくかつ多くの場合吸収性の表面を有することを特徴とし、さらにまた、当該プロセス中に崩壊することなくそれらの目的を果たすことができるように、水分の存在下でさえ高弾性、高強度及び構造的完全性を有することを特徴とする。例えば、化学繊維であるポリエステル又はポリプロピレン及びビスコースを含む繊維複合材料布地(フリース布地)は、これらの材料特性を示し得る。
本発明の目的は、繊維複合材料、とりわけ、フィラメント状形態又はフリース形態のポリマー材料又はポリマー混合物を利用可能にすることに存し、当該繊維複合材料は水中、とりわけ流水中で十分に溶解可能でありそのため洗い流すことが可能であり、同時に、水分の存在下においてもその意図される用途に必要とされる強度及び弾性を示す。
この試験を、好ましくは、不織構造体の分解性のために用いる。
含量の型及び割合に応じて、当該繊維は、光沢があるように、艶消しのように又は色の付いたように見えてもよい。
a)扁平繊維を提供すること、
b)必要に応じて追加的な繊維を提供すること、及び
c)前記繊維をつないで繊維複合材料を形成し、前記複合材料が容易に水中又は他の液体中で分解可能である又は溶解可能であるようにすること。
本発明を、添付の図面を参照して、好ましい例示的な実施態様に基づき、以下にさらに詳細に説明する。
本発明の具体的な態様を以下に示す。

天然の繊維及び/又は合成の繊維を含む又は天然の繊維及び/又は合成の繊維からからなる繊維複合材料であって、前記複合材料の前記繊維の少なくとも一部が扁平断面を示し、扁平断面を有する前記繊維は切断長さが4mm〜75mm、好ましくは20mm〜50mmであることを特徴とし、かつ前記繊維複合材料が容易に水中又は他の液体中で分解可能である又は溶解可能であることを特徴とする、前記繊維複合材料。
[2]
前記繊維の少なくとも一部が長方形断面及び/又は台形断面であることを特徴とする、[1]記載の繊維複合材料。
[3]
ビスコース繊維及び/又はセルロース繊維を含む又はビスコース繊維及び/又はセルロース繊維からからなる、[1]又は[2]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料。
[4]
ポリマー繊維、とりわけ、ポリエステル繊維及び/又はポリプロピレン繊維を含む又はポリマー繊維、とりわけ、ポリエステル繊維及び/又はポリプロピレン繊維からからなる、[1]〜[3]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料。
[5]
不織フリース又は糸であることを特徴とする、[1]〜[4]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料。
[6]
種々の繊維材料の混合物であることを特徴とする、[1]〜[5]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料。
[7]
前記扁平繊維の繊度が 0.9 dtex 〜 9.0 dtex、好ましくは 1.5 dtex 〜 3.0 dtex であることを特徴とする、[1]〜[6]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料。
[8]
前記扁平繊維の断面の外側縁の幅/長さ比率が1:2〜1:20、好ましくは1:4〜1:8であることを特徴とする、[1]〜[7]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料。
[9]
比重が10g/m 2 〜500g/m 2 、好ましくは40g/m 2 〜150g/m 2 であることを特徴とする、[1]〜[8]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料。
[10]
前記扁平繊維の割合が1wt%〜100wt%、好ましくは10wt%〜90wt%であることを特徴とする、[1]〜[9]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料。
[11]
[1]〜[10]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料からからなる又は[1]〜[10]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料を含む、フリース材料又は繊維素地。
[12]
[1]〜[10]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料からからなる又は[1]〜[10]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料を含む、家庭において及び/又は洗浄用に使用することのできる拭き取り生地、吸収性フリース生地、衛生生地若しくは乳児用生地及び/又は個人的衛生生地。

[1]〜[10]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料からからなる又は[1]〜[10]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料を含む、専門的なフリース布地、専門的なフリース材料、フィルター布地又はフィルター材料。

少なくとも2つの層を含み、当該層の1つが実質的に[1]〜[10]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料からからなる、[12]記載の生地。
[15]
追加的な層が同様に容易に分解可能である又は溶解可能である、[14]記載の生地。

少なくとも1つの追加的なパルプの層がセルロース繊維からからなる、[15]記載の生地。

扁平断面を有し、切断長さが4mm〜75mm、好ましくは20mm〜50mmであることを特徴とする繊維の使用であって、これらの繊維を含む繊維複合材料の水中又は他の液体中における分解特性又は溶解特性を改善するための、前記使用。

[1]〜[10]のいずれか記載の繊維複合材料の製造方法であって:
a)切断長さが4mm〜75mm、好ましくは20mm〜50mmであることを特徴とする扁平繊維を提供すること、
b)必要に応じて追加的な繊維を提供すること、及び
c)前記繊維をつないで繊維複合材料を形成し、前記複合材料が容易に水中又は他の液体中で分解可能である又は溶解可能であるようにすること、
を含む、前記製造方法。
2.4 dtex の繊度及び38mmの繊維長を有するビスコース扁平繊維から、50g/m2の単位面積あたりの重量を有するフリース構造体を、最新技術に相当するハイドロニードリング(hydroneedling)プラントを用いて5×106Pa(50 bar)の水圧及び70m/分間の輸送速度(transport speed)で製造した。本明細書の記載に基づいて行ったフラッシュビリティー試験(flushability test)の過程において、フリースの分解は、わずか7回転後に観察された。41,8 N/5cmのMD Dry及び12,9 N/5cmのCD Dryの伸張強度を測定した。最新技術に相当するハイドロニードリング(hydroneedling)プラントを用いて5×106Pa(50 bar)の水圧及び50m/分間の輸送速度(transport speed)で製造したほぼ丸い(circular)断面、1.7 dtex の繊度及び38mmの切断長さを有するビスコース繊維でできている比較されうるフリース構造体は、50g/m2の単位面積あたりの重量の場合は、わずか12回転後にフリースの初めの分解を示した。
2.4 dtex の繊度及び38mmの切断長さを有するビスコース扁平繊維を、5×106Pa(50 bar)の水圧及び100m/分間の輸送速度(transport speed)で実施例1に記載されるとおりに調製して50g/m2の単位面積あたりの重量を有するフリース構造体を形成した。記載したフラッシュビリティー試験(flushability test)法に従って、フリースの初めの分解が、わずか5回転後に観察された。
ほぼ丸い(circular)断面、1.7 dtex の繊度及び38mmの切断長さを有するビスコース繊維との50%/50%の混合物中の2.4 dtex の繊度及び38mmの切断長さを有するビスコース扁平繊維を用いて実施例1及び2と比較できる製法で製造したフリース構造体に関しては、記載されたフラッシュビリティー試験(flushability test)に従って、フリースの初めの分解が、7回転後に認められた。
記載された当該試験方法において、第1の層としてフリース全体について重量で 65 % の割合の実施例1に記載されるビスコース扁平繊維及び第2の層としてフリース全体について重量で 35 % の割合のセルロース系パルプ材料からからなるフリース構造体は、10回転後にフリースの初めの分解を示した。当該層を、水流交絡(hydroentanglement)によってつないだ。
Claims (15)
- ビスコース繊維及び/又はセルロース繊維及び/又はポリエステル繊維及び/又はポリプロピレン繊維を含む、又は、ビスコース繊維及び/又はセルロース繊維及び/又はポリエステル繊維及び/又はポリプロピレン繊維からからなる、繊維複合材料であって、前記複合材料の前記繊維の少なくとも一部が扁平断面を示し、前記繊維複合材料が容易に水中又は他の液体中で分解可能である又は溶解可能であることを特徴とし、前記扁平繊維の断面の外側縁の幅/長さ比率が1:4〜1:8であることを特徴とする、前記繊維複合材料。
- 前記繊維の少なくとも一部が長方形断面及び/又は台形断面であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の繊維複合材料。
- 不織フリース又は糸であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2記載の繊維複合材料。
- 種々の繊維材料の混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料。
- 前記扁平繊維の繊度が 0.9 dtex 〜 9.0 dtexであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料。
- 比重が10g/m2〜500g/m2であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料。
- 前記扁平繊維の割合が1wt%〜100wt%であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料からからなる又は請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料を含む、フリース材料又は繊維素地。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料からからなる又は請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料を含む、家庭において及び/又は洗浄用に使用することのできる拭き取り生地、吸収性フリース生地、衛生生地若しくは乳児用生地及び/又は個人的衛生生地。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料からからなる又は請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料を含む、専門的なフリース布地、専門的なフリース材料、フィルター布地又はフィルター材料。
- 少なくとも2つの層を含み、当該層の1つが実質的に請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料からからなる、請求項9記載の生地。
- 追加的な層が同様に容易に分解可能である又は溶解可能である、請求項11記載の生地。
- 少なくとも1つの追加的なパルプの層がセルロース繊維からからなる、請求項12記載の生地。
- 扁平断面を有し、断面の外側縁の幅/長さ比率が1:4〜1:8であることを特徴とする、ビスコース繊維及び/又はセルロース繊維及び/又はポリエステル繊維及び/又はポリプロピレン繊維の使用であって、これらの繊維を含む繊維複合材料の水中又は他の液体中における分解特性又は溶解特性を改善するための、前記使用。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の繊維複合材料の製造方法であって:
a)切断長さが4mm〜75mmであることを特徴とする扁平繊維を提供すること、及び
c)前記繊維をつないで繊維複合材料を形成し、前記複合材料が容易に水中又は他の液体中で分解可能である又は溶解可能であるようにすること、
を含む、前記製造方法。
