Description
一対の基板間に液晶層を保持した液晶表示パネルと、前記液晶表示パネルに重ねて配置され、前記液晶表示パネルを照明するバックケースを備えた照明ユニットと、前記液晶表示パネルに接続される第1端子部と、前記第1端子部の幅より小さい幅を有し外部回路と接続可能な第2端子部と、を有する略T字の形状に形成され、前記第2端子部側に前記バックケースの背面に固定される折り返し部を有するフレキシブル配線基板と、前記フレキシブル配線基板を前記バックケース背面に固定するための接着テープと、を備え、前記照明ユニットは、前記フレキシブル配線基板の前記折り返し部と重なる位置に前記バックケースの背面に形成された前記折り返し部の収容部を備え、前記収容部を含んで前記折り返し部をカバーするように前記接着テープを前記バックケースの前記収容部上に貼付して前記フレキシブル配線基板を固定するとともに、前記折り返し部を前記収容部内に収容したことを特徴とする液晶表示装置が提供される。

Claims (3)
- 一対の基板間に液晶層を保持した液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルに重ねて配置され、前記液晶表示パネルを照明するバックケースを備えた照明ユニットと、
前記液晶表示パネルに接続される第1端子部と、前記第1端子部の幅より小さい幅を有し外部回路と接続可能な第2端子部と、を有する略T字の形状に形成され、前記第2端子部側に前記バックケースの背面に固定される折り返し部を有するフレキシブル配線基板と、
前記フレキシブル配線基板を前記バックケース背面に固定するための接着テープと、を備え、
前記照明ユニットは、前記フレキシブル配線基板の前記折り返し部と重なる位置に前記バックケースの背面に形成された前記折り返し部の収容部を備え、
前記収容部を含んで前記折り返し部をカバーするように前記接着テープを前記バックケースの前記収容部上に貼付して前記フレキシブル配線基板を固定するとともに、前記折り返し部を前記収容部内に収容したことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記収容部として、その長軸が前記折り返し部の幅方向と略平行であるスリットによって構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記収容部として、前記バックケースの背面を内側に凹ませた凹状の収容部として構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
