Description
Claims (10)
- データを伝送する伝送システムであって、
予め定められたキャリア信号の振幅を、伝送すべき前記データに応じて変調する変調部と、
前記変調部が出力する変調信号を光信号に変換する電光変換部と、
前記光信号を伝送する光ファイバと、
前記光ファイバが伝送した前記光信号を電流信号に変換する光電変換部と、
前記電流信号を、電圧信号に線形に変換する電流電圧変換部と、
前記電圧信号を復調する復調部と
を備え、
前記変調部は、前記変調部および前記復調部の間に接続された伝送チャネルにおけるいずれかの要素のカットオフ周波数、および、単位時間当たりに伝送すべきビット数に基づいて、前記変調信号の振幅方向の多値数を決定し、
前記変調部は、前記伝送チャネルの前記カットオフ周波数に応じて前記変調信号の周波数特性を調整する送信イコライザ回路を有し、
前記変調部は、前記送信イコライザ回路における前記変調信号の振幅のイコライジング量が所定の閾値を超えた場合に、前記変調信号の前記多値数を増加させる伝送システム。 - 前記変調部は、前記伝送チャネルの各要素における最も小さい前記カットオフ周波数、および、単位時間当たりに伝送すべきビット数に基づいて、前記変調信号の振幅方向における多値数を決定する
請求項1に記載の伝送システム。 - 前記電光変換部、前記光ファイバ、前記光電変換部、および、前記電流電圧変換部を有する光伝送チャネルと並行して前記変調部および前記復調部の間に設けられ、電気信号を伝送する電気信号を伝送する電気伝送チャネルを更に備える請求項1または2に記載の伝送システム。
- 前記送信イコライザ回路は、前記変調部および前記復調部の間に、前記光伝送チャネルまたは前記電気伝送チャネルのいずれが接続されるかに基づいて、前記変調信号の周波数特性を調整する
請求項3に記載の伝送システム。 - 前記送信イコライザ回路は、前記変調部および前記復調部の間に接続された伝送チャネルの各要素のカットオフ周波数のうち、最も小さい前記カットオフ周波数に基づいて、前記変調信号の周波数特性を調整する
請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の伝送システム。 - 前記復調部は、前記電圧信号の周波数特性を調整する受信イコライザ回路を有する
請求項3または4に記載の伝送システム。 - 前記変調部および前記復調部の間に、前記光伝送チャネルを接続するか、または、前記電気伝送チャネルを接続するかを切り替える切替部を更に備える
請求項3または4に記載の伝送システム。 - 前記切替部は、前記変調部および前記復調部の間の伝送距離に基づいて、前記光伝送チャネルまたは前記電気伝送チャネルのいずれを接続するかを切り替える
請求項7に記載の伝送システム。 - 前記伝送システムは、それぞれ異なる場所に配置された複数の前記復調部を備え、
前記変調部からの伝送距離が所定距離以上の前記復調部には、前記光伝送チャネルが接続され、前記変調部からの伝送距離が所定距離より短い前記復調部には、前記電気伝送チャネルが接続され、
前記変調部は、いずれの伝送チャネルにも接続可能に設けられる
請求項8に記載の伝送システム。 - 被試験デバイスを試験する試験装置であって、
前記被試験デバイスと信号を受け渡して、前記被試験デバイスを試験する複数の試験モジュールと、
前記複数の試験モジュールにおけるそれぞれの試験モジュールの間、または、それぞれの前記試験モジュールおよび前記被試験デバイスの間の少なくともいずれかにおいて信号を伝送する、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の伝送システムと
を備える試験装置。
