Description
本発明によるフィルムは多層で、少なくともベース層と少なくとも一つの易開封性トップ層を含む。適切であれば、更なるトップ層をフィルムの反対側に付着させることもできる。この第二のトップ層は同様に易開封性にしてもそれ以外の編成にしてもよい。さらに、ベース層とトップ層(一つ又は複数)の間に追加の片面又は両面中間層を付着させることも可能で、それによって4又は5層フィルムが得られる。
二軸延伸は一般的に連続的に実施される。この点において、延伸は好ましくは最初に縦方向(すなわち走行方向=MD方向)、次に横方向(すなわち走行方向に直角=TD方向)に実施される。これによって分子鎖の配向がもたらされる。縦方向の延伸は、好ましくは所望の延伸比に応じて異なる速度で動く2個のローラーの助けを借りて実施される。横方向の延伸には適当なクリップフレームが一般的に使用される。フィルム製造の更なる説明は、フラットフィルム押出とその後の連続延伸の例を基にして行う。
シール継目強度及び剥離強度
これを測定するために、2個の15mm幅のフィルムストリップを易開封性の側を内側にして互いに重ね、80〜110℃の温度範囲でシール時間0.5秒及びシール圧10N/cm2でシールした(装置:Brugger Type NDS、シールジョー(sealing jaw)で片側を加熱)。シール継目強度を測定するために、剥離層をこのように15mmの幅で自身に対してシールする。その際、シールされていない端部をシール部分の上部に放置しておく。これらの端部をZwich社製の機械的強度測定装置に搭載する。シール継目を15mmの幅まで引き裂くのに要する最大力をシール継目強度又は剥離力と呼ぶ。
曇り
曇りはASTM−D 1003に準じて決定する。
実施例1:
厚さ約50μmの透明三層PLAフィルムを、押出とその後の縦及び横方向への段階的延伸によって製造する。ベース層は、NatureWorks社製のおよそ160℃の融点を有するほぼ100%のポリ乳酸(4042D)から成っていた。該層はさらに安定剤及び中和剤を従来量で含有していた。易開封性のシール可能なトップ層は、成分Aとして60重量%のNatureWorks社製の非晶質のシール可能な原料(4060D)と40重量%のNovamount社製の生分解性原料(Mater−Bi KE 03B)を含有していた。
押出:温度170〜200℃
送出しローラーの温度:60℃
縦方向延伸:温度:68℃

横方向延伸:温度:88℃
横方向延伸比(有効):5.5
固定:温度:130℃
収斂:10%
このようにして、特徴的な光沢を有する二軸延伸透明フィルムを得た。フィルムの性質は表に示す。易開封性トップ層は3.6μmの厚さ、反対側のトップ層は2μmの厚さ、ベース層はそれに相応して44.4μmの厚さを有していた。
実施例2:
押出とその後の縦及び横方向への段階的延伸によって厚さ約50μmの透明三層PLAフィルムを製造した。ベース層は、NatureWorks社製のおよそ160℃の融点を有するほぼ100%のポリ乳酸(4042D)から成っていた。該層はさらに安定剤及び中和剤を従来量で含有していた。易開封性のシール可能なトップ層は、40%のNatureWorks社製の非晶質のシール可能な原料(4060D)(成分A)と60重量%のNovamount社製の生分解性原料(Mater−Bi KE 03B)(成分B)を含有していた。各操作ステップの製造条件は実施例1と同一であった。実施例1と対比して、シール可能なトップ層の厚さは今度は5.5μmであった。従来層の厚さは実施例1に対応した。
実施例3:
押出とその後の縦及び横方向への段階的延伸によって厚さ約50μmの透明三層PLAフィルムを製造した。ベース層は、NatureWorks社製のおよそ160℃の融点を有するほぼ100重量%のポリ乳酸(4032D)から成っていた。該層はさらに安定剤及び中和剤を従来量で含有していた。易開封性のシール可能なトップ層は、60%の成分A、すなわちNatureWorks社製の非晶質のシール可能な原料(4060D)と40重量%のBASF ECOFLEX F BX 7011の生分解性原料を含有していた。
比較例1
押出とその後の縦及び横方向への段階的延伸によって厚さ約50μmの透明三層PLAフィルムを製造した。ベース層は、NatureWorks社製のおよそ160℃の融点を有するほぼ100%のポリ乳酸(4032D)から成っていた。該層はさらに安定剤及び中和剤を従来量で含有していた。易開封性のシール可能なトップ層は、100%のNatureWorks社製の非晶質のシール可能な原料(4060D)(成分A)を含有し、生分解性の成分Bは含有しなかった。トップ層の厚さは〜4μmになった。

- ベース層と少なくとも一つの易開封性トップ層からできた多層フィルムであって、トップ層は30〜80重量%の少なくとも一つの脂肪族ヒドロキシカルボン酸の非晶質ポリマーAと20〜70重量%のAとは異なる生分解性ポリマーBとを含有し、ここで非晶質ポリマーAは80〜90重量%のL乳酸単位及び10〜20重量%のD乳酸単位からなる非晶質ポリ乳酸であり、生分解性ポリマーBはデンプン、セルロース又は分解性ポリエステルであり、
ベース層はD乳酸単位のL乳酸単位に対する比率(D:L)が10:90未満である結晶性ポリ乳酸であり、
トップ層は少なくとも3μmの厚さ及び85〜120℃の温度範囲で自身に対するシール継目強度が1〜5N/15mmのシールにおいて易開封性のトップ層を有し、シールはシール時間0.5秒及びシール圧10N/cm2で行われることを特徴とする多層フィルム。 - 非晶質ポリマーAが10〜18重量%のD乳酸単位を有するポリ乳酸であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のフィルム。
- 易開封性トップ層が、ポリマーA及びBのポリマー混合物を80重量%以上100重量%未満含有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のフィルム。
- 易開封性トップ層の厚さが3〜10μmになることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3の1項に記載のフィルム。
- 易開封性トップ層の反対側に別のトップ層が付着されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4の1項に記載のフィルム。
- フィルムが透明であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5の1項に記載のフィルム。
- フィルムが不透明であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5の1項に記載のフィルム。
- 請求項1〜7の1項に記載のフィルムの包装フィルムとしての使用。
- 請求項1〜7の1項に記載のフィルムの蓋フィルムとしての使用。
