Description
本発明は、流体の貯蔵及び輸送に用いることのできる物体の形成に有用な新規なポリアミドアロイ組成物に関するものである。このポリアミドアロイは、少なくとも一種のポリアミドと少なくとも一種の改変ポリオレフィン(硬いドメインと軟らかいドメインの両方を有する)のブレンドである。このポリアミドは、このアロイの連続相を形成する。このアロイは又、熱及び光安定化化合物、少なくとも一種の未改変ポリオレフィン、及び少なくとも一種の可塑剤を含むこともできる(好ましくは、含む)。このポリアミドアロイ組成物は、液体又はガス状流体(加圧流体を含む)の輸送に用いられるタンク、ホース及びチューブの形成に有用である。
米国特許第6,066,377号は、内層(ブレーキ用空気と接触)及び、ポリアミド、ナイロン−11又はナイロン−12から作成された外層及び、これらの層の間にある一層以上の高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)及びおそらくポリエステル製の補強用編組よりなるホースを開示している。このHDPEは、チューブが機械的強度(特に、破裂強さ)を有するように放射線架橋しなければならず、それは、ポリアミドとHDPEの間の接着を造るために官能化ポリオレフィンを含まなければならない。実施例は、再現性がなく、ランダムな結果を生じている。このHDPEの機械的特性は、不十分であって、チューブを弱くする。

a)50〜95重量パーセントの少なくとも一種のポリアミド;
b)0〜46重量パーセントの少なくとも一種の未改変ポリオレフィン;
c)4〜50重量パーセントの少なくとも一種の、硬い分散相と柔らかい分散相の両方を有するポリオレフィン;
d)0〜18重量パーセントの少なくとも一種の可塑剤;及び
e)0.5〜3重量パーセントの少なくとも一種の安定化化合物、
ここに、このアロイの連続相は、a)のポリアミドよりなり、b)とc)の合計は、4〜50重量パーセントである。
本発明は、少なくとも一種のポリアミド及び、適宜未改変のポリオレフィン、可塑剤及び安定剤を伴う少なくとも一種の改変ポリオレフィンのアロイに関するものである。
−少なくとも一種のアミノ酸例えばアミノカプロン酸、7−アミノヘプタン酸、11−アミノウンデカン酸及び12−アミノドデカン酸(又は、少なくとも一のラクタム例えばカプロラクタム、エナントラクタム及びラウリルラクタム);
−ジアミン例えばヘキサメチレンジアミン、ドデカメチレンジアミン、メタキシレンジアミン、ビス(p−アミノシクロヘキシル)メタン及びトリメチルヘキサメチレンジアミンの、二酸例えばイソフタル酸、テレフタル酸、アジピン酸、アゼライン酸、スベリン酸、セバシン酸及びドデカンジカルボン酸との少なくとも一種の塩又は混合物。
Xは、6〜10炭素原子を有する脂肪族ジアミンの残基を示し、
Yは、10〜14炭素原子を有する脂肪族ジカルボン酸の残基を示し、
Y2は、15〜20炭素原子を有する脂肪族ジカルボン酸の残基を示しそして
Zは、ラクタムの残基、α,ω−アミノカルボン酸の残基、ユニットX1、Y1から選択する少なくとも一ユニットを示し、ここに、X1は、脂肪族ドメインの残基を示し、Y1は、脂肪族ジカルボン酸の残基を示し、重量比Z/(X+Y+Z)及びZ/(6+Y2+Z)は、0〜15%にある。
1)ジアミン鎖末端を有するポリアミドブロックとジカルボン酸鎖末端を有するポリオキシアルキレンブロック;
2)ジカルボン酸鎖末端を有するポリアミドブロックとジアミン鎖末端を有するポリオキシアルキレンブロック(ポリエーテルジオールと呼ばれる脂肪族ジヒドロキシル化アルファ,オメガ−ポリオキシアルキレンブロックのシアノエチル化及び水素化から得られる);
3)ジカルボン酸鎖末端を有するポリアミドブロックとポリエーテルジオール(この場合、得られる生成物は、ポリエーテルエステルアミドである)。
有利には、これらのコポリマーを使用する。
ヘキサメチレンジアミンと1,12−ドデカン二酸との縮合から生じるPA−6,12;
C9ジアミンと1,12−ドデカン二酸との縮合から生じるPA−9,12;
C10ジアミンと1,10−デカン二酸との縮合から生じるPA−10,10;及び
C10ジアミンと1,12−ドデカン二酸との縮合から生じるPA−10,12。
(i)熱可塑性ポリオレフィン及びエラストマーのブレンドであって、少なくとも該ポリオレフィン及び/又はエラストマーは(無水マレイン酸又は同等物を)グラフトされており、該ブレンドは、最終的にはポリオレフィンとブレンドされる
(ii)熱可塑性ポリオレフィン及びエラストマーのブレンドであって、該ブレンドは(無水マレイン酸又は同等物を)グラフトされており、該ブレンドは、最終的にはポリオレフィンとブレンドされる。この熱可塑性ポリオレフィンとエラストマーの、グラフトされたブレンドは又、「熱可塑性ポリオレフィンとエラストマーのコグラフト化ブレンド」とも呼ばれる。例えば、この熱可塑性ポリオレフィンは、LLDPEであってよく、エラストマーは、EPR、EPDM又はメタロセンポリエチレンであってよい。この熱可塑性ポリオレフィンとエラストマーとの割合は、熱可塑性ポリオレフィン/エラストマーの重量比、10/90〜90/10であってよい。
−PE、エチレンの、例えば35〜80重量%のエチレンを含む、プロピレン、ブテン、ヘキセン又はオクテンとのコポリマー(低密度、中密度又は高密度であってよい);
−エチレン/アルファ−オレフィンコポリマー例えばエチレン/プロピレン、EPR(エチレン/プロピレンラバーの略号)及びエチレン/プロピレン/ジエン(EPDM);
−スチレン/エチレン−ブテン/スチレン(SEBS)、スチレン/ブタジエン/スチレン(SBS)、スチレン/イソプレン/スチレン(SIS)及びスチレン/エチレン−プロピレン/スチレン(SEPS)ブロックコポリマー;
−エチレン−ビニルアセテートコポリマー(EVA)(最大で40重量%のビニルアセテートを含有);
−エチレン−アルキル(メタクリレート)アクリレートコポリマー(最大で40重量%のアルキル(メタクリレート)アクリレートを含有);及び
−エチレン−ビニルアセテート(EVA)/アルキル(メタクリレート)アクリレートコポリマー(最大で40重量%のコモノマーを含有)。
−エチレン/アルキル(メタクリレート)/アクリレート/(メタクリル酸)アクリル酸又は無水マレイン酸又はグリシジルメタクリレートコポリマー;
−エチレン/ビニルアセテート/無水マレイン酸又はグリシジルメタクリレートコポリマー;及び
−エチレン/ビニルアセテート又はアルキル(メタクリレート)アクリレート/(メタクリル酸)アクリル酸又は無水マレイン酸若しくはグリシジルメタクリル酸コポリマー。
−グラフトされた不飽和カルボン酸の含量は、30〜105ppmであり、そして
−MFI(ASTM D 1238標準:190℃/2.16kg)は、0.1〜10g/分である。
− 80〜20重量%の、密度0.865〜0.915のメタロセンポリエチレン(A1)と20〜80重量%の非メタロセンLLDPEポリエチレン(A2)とのブレンドよりなる10〜35重量%のポリマー(A)自身(このポリマー(A1)と(A2)のブレンドは、不飽和カルボン酸及びそれらの誘導体から選択するグラフト用モノマーをコグラフトされており、該ブレンド中の該グラフト用モノマーの含量は、30〜100000ppmである);
− 40〜60重量%の、スチレンのモル%が50〜90のスチレン/ブタジエン/スチレンブロックコポリマー(B)、
− 20〜35重量%のPE(C);
全量で100%となる。
一具体例により、この組成物は、(A2)の密度が0.900〜0.950であることによって特徴付けられる。
一具体例により、この組成物は、ポリマー(A1)と(A2)のブレンド中のグラフト用モノマーの割合が、600〜5000ppmであることにより特徴付けられる。
・ポリエチレンホモポリマー及びコポリマー、特に、LDPE、HDPE、LLDPE(直鎖状低密度ポリオレフィン)、
・プロピレンホモポリマー又はコポリマー;
・エチレンと、不飽和カルボン酸の塩又はエステル例えばアルキルアクリレート(メタクリレート)(例えば、メチルアクリレート)、又は飽和カルボン酸のビニルエステル例えばビニルアセテート(EVA)から選択する少なくとも一種の生成物とのコポリマー(コモノマーの割合は、おそらく、40重量%以下)。
− 60〜90重量パーセントのポリアミド、
− 8〜20パーセントの改変ポリオレフィン、
− 10〜30パーセントの一種以上の未改変ポリオレフィン、
− 4〜10重量パーセントの可塑剤、及び
− 0.8〜1.5重量パーセントの一種以上の安定剤
(ここに、改変ポリオレフィンは、軟らかいドメインと硬いドメインの両方を有する、無水マレイン酸未改変ポリオレフィン又は、硬いドメインを有する改変ポリオレフィン及び軟らかいドメインを有する改変ポリオレフィンであり、未改変ポリオレフィンは、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)であり、ポリアミドは、PA6、PA11、PA12又はこれらのブレンドであり、そして可塑剤は、BBSAである)。
下記の配合物を、表1に与えた割合で、反応性押出しによりブレンドして、同時押出ししてホースを形成した。引張特性を、ASTM D 638に従って、IV型引張試験片及び5.08センチメートル(2インチ)/分のクロスヘッド運動を用いて試験した。伸びを、インストロン高分解能デジタル(HRD)伸び計を用いて測定した。曲げ特性を、ASTM D 790に従って、I型引張試験片から切ったゲージ切片を用いて試験した。耐衝撃性を、ASTM D 256に従って、I型引張試験片から切ったゲージ切片を用いて試験した。これらの試験結果は、表2に示してある。
US6,528,687(実施例2A)により作成した軟らかい及び硬い改質剤を有する、この発明の配合物を、実施例1に記載の仕方で配合した。同様の比較用配合物(実施例2B)を、実施例2Aの軟らかい及び硬い改質剤の代わりにデュポンフサボンドE MB−100Dを用いて作成した。
曲げ特性を、実施例1のようにして測定した。各試験を、5つの試料について行なって、平均及び標準偏差を表3に与えた。ASTM D 790で40,000psi未満の可撓性及びD638で20%偏りで3000psiより大きい最小張力が、エアブレーキ適用要件を満たすためには必要とされる。
Claims (12)
- a)連続相としての、60〜90重量パーセントの一種以上のポリアミド;
b)10〜30重量パーセントの一種以上の未改変ポリアルファ−オレフィン;
c)8〜20重量パーセントの、2つの異なるドメインを有し、
一方は100Mpa以下の曲げ弾性率を有する(軟性)、VLDPE、LLDPE又はLDPE型のポリエチレン、メタロセンポリエチレン、EPR又はEPDMのエラストマー、或いはそれらの混合物であり、
他方は、200〜400Mpaの曲げ弾性率を有し(硬性)且つ0.915〜0.925の密度を有する、分散相中の一種以上の改変ポリオレフィン;
d)ベンゼンスルホネート(ベンゼンスルホン酸塩)誘導体である4〜10重量パーセントの一種以上の可塑剤;及び
e)0.8〜1.5重量パーセントの一種以上の安定化化合物
の混合物を内層又は外層として含み、他の外層又は内層がPA11又はPA12を含み、
アロイの連続相がa)のポリアミドよりなり、b)とc)の合計が、4〜50重量パーセントであり、
前記の改変ポリオレフィンの硬い及び軟らかいドメインが、同じ改変ポリオレフィン中に存在する流体の輸送及び/又は貯蔵のための多層構造体。 - 未改変ポリオレフィン(b)が、メタロセンポリエチレンを含まない、請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 未改変ポリオレフィンが、密度0.930kg/l以上、及び300Mpaより大きい曲げ弾性率を有する高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)を含む、請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 前記の未改変ポリオレフィンが、0.940kg/l以上の密度及び700MPaより大きい曲げ弾性率を有する、請求項3に記載の多層構造体。
- 改変ポリオレフィン(c)が、直鎖状ポリエチレンを含む、請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 前記の改変ポリオレフィン(c)が、軟らかいドメインとして0.865〜0.915kg/lの範囲の密度を有するメタロセンポリエチレンを含み、硬いドメインとして0.900kg/lより大きい密度を有する非メタロセンポリエチレンを含む、請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- ポリアミドが、PA11、PA12又はこれらのブレンドを含む、請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 前記の未改変ポリオレフィンが、前記のアロイの3〜30重量パーセントを構成する、請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 前記の物体が、パイプ、又はホース又はチューブである、請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 接着層を更に含む、請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 強化材を更に含む、請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 前記の強化材が、内層と外層の間に配置された強化ブレーディングを含む、請求項11に記載の多層構造体。
