Description
Claims (8)
- 第1の基板と前記第1の基板と対向する第2の基板とを備えた液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルに隣接して設置され、且つ前記液晶表示パネルを駆動する駆動回路素子が搭載された駆動回路基板と、
前記液晶表示パネルの背面に設置され、且つ前記液晶表示パネルの背面に照明光を照射する少なくとも1個の発光素子を有するバックライトと、
前記液晶表示パネル及び前記駆動回路基板を搭載し、且つ前記バックライトを収納する枠状のモールドフレームと、
前記液晶表示パネルの有効表示領域を露呈する額縁を形成すると共に前記モールドフレーム側に延在する側壁を有して前記モールドフレームと固定される金属フレームと、を備え、
前記第1の基板が有する第1の側面と、前記駆動回路基板が有する第2の側面とは、互いに対向し、
液晶表示パネルと前記モールドフレームとの間に介挿部材を配設し、
前記介挿部材は、前記液晶表示パネルと前記駆動回路基板との間の隙間を覆い、且つ前記第1の側面の一部及び前記第2の側面の一部と接していることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記介挿部材の一部は、前記駆動回路基板と前記モールドフレームとの間に挟持されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記介挿部材は、前記モールドフレーム上に一体成型された突起部に一部を係止させて挟持されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記介挿部材は、前記液晶表示パネル部に一部を係止させて挟持されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記介挿部材は、スペーサであることを特徴とする請求項2乃至請求項4の何れかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記スペーサは、弾性を有する発泡性ゴムであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記バックライトは、蛍光放電管を用いた側面ライト型バックライトであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6の何れかに記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記バックライトは、蛍光放電管を用いた直下ライト型バックライトであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6の何れかに記載の液晶表示装置。
