Claims (20)
- 液体の処理のための装置であって、
少なくとも80パーセント密閉されることを特徴とするチャンバと、
前記チャンバ内に含まれる紫外線ランプと、
液体が通り進むための、前記チャンバを貫通する紫外線透過管であって、前記液体は実質的に紫外線を透過させることが可能であり、前記チャンバ内に収納された実質的に全ての光吸収面が収納される紫外線透過管と、
少なくとも80パーセントの反射率であることを特徴とする、前記チャンバを被覆する反射性材料と、
前記紫外線透過管および前記反射性材料の端部に設置された光反射性材料からなる光反射性バッフルと、
を備えることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記液体に作用する紫外線放射照度が、0.01W/cm2と20W/cm2との範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記反射性材料は、反射器であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記反射器は、拡散反射器と鏡面反射器とから構成されるグループの任意のものであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記反射器は、前記紫外線ランプの放射部分の端部を越えて前記紫外線透過管の長手軸に沿って延在することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記反射器は、PTFE、ePTFE、被覆されたアルミニウム、陽極処理されたアルミニウム、および研磨されたアルミニウムから構成されるグループの任意のものを含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記反射性材料は、結合剤および反射性添加剤の混合物の任意のものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記反射性添加物は、硫酸バリウム、フッ化マグネシウム、酸化マグネシウム、酸化アルミニウム、酸化チタン、酸化ホルミウム、酸化カルシウム、酸化ランタン、酸化ゲルマニウム、二酸化テルル、酸化ユウロピウム、酸化エルビウム、酸化ネオジム、酸化サマリウム、酸化イッテルビウム、および酸化ジルコニウムから構成されるグループのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の装置。

- 前記反射性材料は、結合剤および反射性添加剤の任意の混合物であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記反射性添加物は、硫酸バリウム、フッ化マグネシウム、酸化マグネシウム、酸化アルミニウム、酸化チタン、酸化ホルミウム、酸化カルシウム、酸化ランタン、酸化ゲルマニウム、二酸化テルル、酸化ユウロピウム、酸化エルビウム、酸化ネオジム、酸化サマリウム、酸化イッテルビウム、および酸化ジルコニウムから構成されるグループの任意のものであることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の装置。
- 前記紫外線透過管が、前記チャンバに入るおよび前記チャンバから出ることを特徴とする、入口および出口ポートをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記入口ポートは、蛇行状通路で構成されることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の装置。
