Claims (5)
- 第1の電極及び第2の電極上に各々多数のセルを画定する第1及び第2の隔壁を設けるステップと、
前記第1の隔壁により画定された各セル領域の第1の電極上にツイストボールを注入するステップと、
少なくとも前記ツイストボールを含む各セル領域に誘電液を注入するステップと、
前記第1の隔壁と前記第2の隔壁とが対向するように、前記第1の隔壁の設けられた第1の電極と前記第2の隔壁の設けられた第2の電極とを合着するステップとを含み、
前記第1の隔壁を設けるステップにて、
前記第1の隔壁により画定された各セル領域の第1の電極上に、第1のバッファ層をさらに設け、前記第1の隔壁および前記第1のバッファ層と一体に、前記第1の電極の周辺に沿って、前記第1の隔壁より高い高さを有する第3の隔壁をさらに設けることを特徴とする電子ペーパー表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記第1の隔壁と前記第2の隔壁とが、インプリント方法によって設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ペーパー表示素子の製造方法。
- 前記第1の隔壁を設けるステップにて、
前記第3の隔壁上に設けられた第1のアラインマークを、さらに設けることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ペーパー表示素子の製造方法。 - 前記第2の電極上に配置された基板上に、前記第1のアラインマークと対応した第2のアラインマークを設けることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電子ペーパー表示素子の製造方法。
- 前記第2の隔壁を設けるステップにて、
前記第2の隔壁により画定された各セル領域の第2の電極上に第2のバッファ層を、さらに設けることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子ペーパー表示素子の製造方法。
