Description
本発明で使用されるSiO2/M2O(Mはアルカリ金属を示す)のモル比が2〜5のケイ酸アルカリ金属塩(a)は、冷間塑性加工時に脂肪酸のカルシウム塩(b)やポリオレフィンワックス(c)などの潤滑成分を加工表面へ導入するキャリアになるとともに、冷間塑性加工時の加工表面での高温高圧状態にも耐えることによって加工金型表面と材料表面との直接接触を防ぎ、焼付き現象を抑制するために良好な冷間塑性加工性を提供する。本発明のSiO2/M2O(Mはアルカリ金属を示す)のモル比が2〜5のケイ酸アルカリ金属塩(a)は、水中に溶解もしくはコロイド分散した状態で存在し、水分が揮発することにより常温では固体状の皮膜を形成する。水溶液の安定性や造膜性など観点から、MはK、或いは、Naであるのが好ましい。SiO2/M2Oのモル比が2を下回ると連続皮膜性が低下し、冷間塑性加工性が著しく低下すると共に、脂肪酸のカルシウム塩(b)やポリオレフィンワックス(c)の保持性も極端に低下する。またSiO2/M2Oのモル比が5を上回ると、水性処理液が極端に不安定になると共に冷間塑性加工性が低下する。また、調質処理などの熱処理工程においても締結部品の表面に残存して鉄酸化物の成長を抑制する役割を担っている。また、残存するケイ酸成分は締結部品を締め付ける際に金属接触を防止する保護皮膜として作用する。
(1)潤滑皮膜形成用水性処理液の調製
以下に示す各成分を、表1に示す組合せ及び割合にて用いて、表1に示す実施例1〜11及び比較例1〜17の水性処理液を調製した。なお、これらすべての水性処理液において、水性処理液中の全固形分:水の質量比は1:9とした。
本実施例と比較例にて、上記水性処理液に配合した各成分を以下に示す。
(a成分)
a−1 ケイ酸ナトリウム(Na2O・4SiO2)
a−2 ケイ酸ナトリウム(Na2O・2SiO2)
a−3 ケイ酸カリウム(K2O・2SiO2)

(2−1)前処理及び潤滑皮膜処理
本実施例および比較例1〜15については、JISG4051の機械構造用炭素鋼鋼材S45Cの線材を用いて、以下の処理手順にて潤滑皮膜処理を行った。
(a)評価用試験材:前方押し出し試験片(S45C) 30mm×φ25mm
(b)酸洗:塩酸の17.5%水溶液、温度40℃、浸漬10分
(c)水洗:水道水、常温、スプレー処理30秒
(d)潤滑皮膜処理:上記で調製した各水性処理液、40℃、浸漬1分処理
(e)乾燥:80℃熱風乾燥3分
(f)乾燥皮膜質量:10g/m2
なお、比較例16についての潤滑皮膜処理には市販の石灰石けん処理剤(登録商標パルーブCAO2、日本パーカライジング(株)製)を用いた。
(a)評価用試験材:前方押し出し試験片(S45C) 30mm×φ25mm
(b)酸洗:塩酸の17.5%水溶液、温度40℃、浸漬10分
(c)水洗:水道水、常温、スプレー処理30秒
(d)化成処理:市販のリン酸亜鉛化成処理剤(登録商標パルボンド181X、日本パーカライジング(株)製)、濃度90g/L、温度80℃、浸漬10分
(e)水洗:水道水、常温、スプレー処理30秒
(f)石けん処理:市販の反応石けん潤滑剤(登録商標
パルーブ235、日本パーカライジング(株)製)、濃度70g/L、温度80℃、浸漬5分
(g)乾燥:80℃熱風乾燥3分
(h)乾燥皮膜質量:12g/m2
上記で潤滑皮膜処理を施した試験片を用いて前方押し出し加工を行い、加工後試験片の加工先端部までの皮膜追随程度と焼付き部の有無とを目視評価した。追随性が良いものは冷間塑性加工時の表面積拡大に対して十分な耐焼付き性を有し、皮膜が追随しないものでは焼付きが発生し易くなる。
前方押し出し加工条件:先端絞り径φ10mm、押し出し長さ12mm
評価基準: ○ : 先端部まで皮膜が追随していて、焼付き部無し
△ : 先端部まで皮膜が追随していないが、焼付き部無し
× : 先端部に皮膜が追随しておらず、焼付き部有り
上記で成型加工した試験片について、洗浄工程を行わずに、以下の条件で調質処理を行った。その後に外観評価および潤滑性評価を下記の評価基準にて実施した。
焼入れ:窒素雰囲気にて870℃で30分保持し、次いで焼入れ油にて冷却した。
焼戻し:焼入れ工程に連続し、大気雰囲気にて470℃で1時間保持し、次いで油冷した。
<潤滑性評価>
上記調質処理後の試験片の表面について摩擦磨耗試験機による摺動試験を行った。摩擦摩耗試験は冷間鍛造加工性が△以上の条件のみ実施した。摩擦磨耗試験としては、最も標準的なバウデン試験にて行った。潤滑性能評価としては、摺動回数5回目の動摩擦係数値により評価した。工業的許容レベルは「△」以上である。
試験条件: 圧子として10mmφのSUJ2鋼球使用
垂直荷重=1kg,摺動速度=10mm/s、温度=常温
評価基準: ○ : 動摩擦係数が0.15未満
△ : 動摩擦係数が0.15以上0.2未満
× : 動摩擦係数が0.2以上
(1)潤滑皮膜形成用水性処理液の調製
以下に示す各成分を、表2に示す組合せ及び割合にて水性処理液を調製した。潤滑皮膜を形成する、a成分,b成分,c成分は、実施例A〜Cについては実施例1のa−2,b−2,c−1を用い、実施例Dについては実施例1のa−4,b−6,c−2を用いた。また、比較例Aについては比較例1のa−2,b−2+b−8,c−1を用いた。なお、これらすべての水性処理液において、水性処理液中の全固形分:水の質量比は1:9とした。
JISG4053の機械構造用合金鋼鋼材SCM415のφ12.3mmの線材を長さ50mmに切断し、以下の処理手順にて潤滑皮膜処理して用いた。
(a)酸洗:硫酸の17.5%水溶液、温度70℃、浸漬10分
(b)水洗:常温の水洗槽に浸漬後引上げ
(c)潤滑皮膜処理:上記で調製した各水性処理液、60℃、浸漬5分処理
(d)乾燥:自然乾燥
(e)乾燥皮膜質量:10g/m2
(f)伸線:φ12.0mmに伸線
伸線時における粉塵の発生しやすさを評価する目的で、上記潤滑皮膜処理を施した試験片で前方押し加工を行い、金型に残存した潤滑皮膜成分の性状を評価した。ダイスは伸線時の温度上昇を考慮して150℃に加熱した。なお、加工度は断面減少率20%である。前方押し加工により皮膜の一部が脱落するが、脱落した皮膜が細かく粉状であるものほど粉塵が発生しやすいとした。また、前方押し加工で加工表面にキズが発生したものは、伸線時にダイス前に潤滑パウダーを使用する必要があると判断し、粉塵は最も多く発生するとした。なお、脱落量は試験片10本加工した時の状況で評価した。
評価基準: ○ : 脱落皮膜が粉状にならない
△ : 脱落皮膜が粉状
× : 加工面にキズ発生
試験結果を表2に示す。実ラインで粉塵の問題がある比較例Aの燐片状黒鉛は脱落皮膜が粉状になった。比較例Bの石灰石けん皮膜は加工面にキズがはいった。比較例Cのリン酸塩+石けん処理は加工面にキズは無いが皮膜脱落物の性状が粉状であった。本発明の範囲である実施例は、粉状の脱落物は発生せず、加工面にキズの発生も無かった。表2から明らかのように粉塵が発生し難い皮膜であること分かる。
Claims (6)
- SiO2/M2O(Mはアルカリ金属を示す)のモル比が2〜5のケイ酸アルカリ金属塩(a)、脂肪酸のカルシウム塩(b)、ポリオレフィンワックス(c)を必須成分とし、全固形分中での(b)及び(c)の質量比が、それぞれ6〜50質量%、1〜20質量%である組成物の水性処理液で処理された、焼入れ焼戻し熱処理を経て使用される締結部品用鋼線材。
- SiO2/M2O(Mはアルカリ金属を示す)のモル比が2〜5のケイ酸アルカリ金属塩(a)、脂肪酸のカルシウム塩(b)、ポリオレフィンワックス(c)を必須成分とし、全固形分中での(b)及び(c)の質量比が、それぞれ6〜50質量%、1〜20質量%である潤滑皮膜を有する、焼入れ焼戻し熱処理を経て使用される締結部品用鋼線材。
- 前記MがNa及びKのいずれか1種又は2種である請求項1又は2に記載の締結部品用鋼線材。
- 前記脂肪酸のカルシウム塩(b)の融点が70℃から180℃である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の締結部品用鋼線材。
- 前記ポリオレフィンワックス(c)の平均粒子径が5μm以下である請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の締結部品用鋼線材。
- 前記ポリオレフィンワックス(c)の融点が70℃から150℃である請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の締結部品用鋼線材。
